ARE YOU LONELY?

I hear so many say that they are lonely, and it's no fun.
I really do sympathize, with each and every one.

"How can I live my life alone", is what I've heard you say
and each time that I hear these words it takes me back to that day
That I, too, felt the need for someone in my life, but as the time
kept going by I would still find myself alone and waiting.

What was I actually waiting for when all the while I knew,
that the most precious companion I could have was
right within my view.

I did read my Bible every day and what it said to me,
was "Lo, I am with you always to keep you company."
"I walk with you when you go anywhere day or night, and
see to it that you are safe and everything is right."

The words were right in front of me if I would only choose,
to make the choices that were secure and best
and never give up, no, I refuse.
I only want what's best for me, by His standards, high
and true
The example that is before me in His word
will tell me what to do.

It has shown me time and again to wait upon the Lord,
and to be content with what I have so now I can afford,
to give my heart to someone else, the way it was meant to be.
And live a Godly life on earth for as long as He allows me.
