| Louisa was known as Zoe on census records with her parents, but Louisa on records as an adult. In the census of 1860 she was listed as Zaue. In the 1870 census she became Zoe. When we find her in the 1880 census she has become Louisa. On her father Paul's application for Civil War Veteran disability pension, Louisa was listed as born 8 July 1856. |

| I first discovered Louisa on the marriage certificate for Mary Lincoln and Archie Morley. I was looking for information on the death of Aldora Sylvester, my great-grandmother and Mary's mother. While looking through records in Standish, Michigan I came across my grandmother's marriage application. It was somewhat of a shock to discover that Archie's mother was Louisa Levelette. His father was James Morley, which I already knew. |
