In February 2005…

Around Valentine’s Day Kenny and I took a trip across the North Sea to London to stay with Karen and JP. During the 5-day trip we visited Karen and JP with JP’s parents, met up with my other old friends like Eric and Benson, as well as Uncle Perry and family. We had dimsum in Chinatown on the day Chinese New Year was celebrated in London. The amazingly competitive lion dances accompanied with drumming and thousands of firecrackers, the lines and lines of stalls, the parade, the many Chinese cultural shows in various spots in London centre, and the enthusiastic participation of people of all age and from different cultural backgrounds, it is a real celebration of a new year. We went up to the London Eye, and down the London Dungeon! On Valentine’s Day we saw Shakespeare’s Macbeth. It was magnificent!
