COACH ED grew up in Lemont, IL and moved to Bolingbrook in 1996. He is a HUGE fan of baseball. His favorite team is The Chicago White Sox. He enjoys being able to share his love of the game with others. He started coaching The Pilots as an Asst Coach in 1998 when his daughter Kaylyn joined the team. In 2000, Coach Ed took over as Head Coach. His son Brian joined the team in 2002. Coach Ed was able to enjoy a full year watching both his children play together. Kaylyn has since joined The Expos of Panthers Softball, and is about to start her second year.
Coach Ed has taken The Pilots to the playoffs every year since taking over as Head Coach.
Coach Ed works as a Project Manager for Ostrander Construction, Inc. out of Downers Grove, IL, and is extremely proud to have Ostrander Construction sponsoring our Pilots team this year.
COACH DAWN grew up in Bolingbrook. She is also a HUGE fan of baseball. Her favorite team is The Chicago Cubs. Mostly Coach Dawn has been behind the scenes working on most of the paperwork and planning involved in coaching The Pilots, not to mention keeping an eye on Ashlee. In 2003, Coach Dawn joined The Pilots as an Asst Coach. While she takes great pride in planning most of the Pilots activites, she has quickly grown to love coaching. The ability to take a child who may not even know anything about baseball, and see them blossom over the short season and see the progress they have made and they fun they have is incredible.
Coach Dawn works out of her home, running her own home daycare & preschool program. Lamb Home Child Care has been existance since July of 1999. Coach Dawn also recently learned web design and manages the family's website.
