Now 17, Tidus is very happy with being one of Blitzball's greates When this massive squid-like creature crashes Tidus' Blitzball tournament, Auron, a character who knew Tidus' father very well, appears practically out of nowhere. Auron gives Tidus a sword that was once Jecht's and the duo begin to battle some of Sin's minions. While the two battle Sin's drones, a blinding vortex appears from the sky. The ground crumbles, and all is seemingly sucked inside the vortex. Auron lifts Tidus off his feet and utters, "Get ready. It's all about you. This is your story." |

| Destiny Foretold Tidus finds himself in a world that's cloudy and gray.
