The Unexpected Marriage By Little Usa Rate PG Prince Endymion sat in his chair in the thrown room next to his mother and father, King Damian and Queen Gaia. They were waiting for Queen Serenity and her daughter Princess Serenity to show. Queen Serenity was the ruler of the moon and the Universe. Although her kingdom was not well known. Serenity is trying get all that planets kingdoms to get to know each other so wars would not start to take place. When settled the time would be called The Silver Millennium. Just then the trumpets glared and the doors to the thrown room opened. Coming inside was Queen Serenity followed by her were two of Princess Serenity's guardians, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. "Hello Queen Gaia and King Damian." Queen Serenity said with a bow. "These are two of my daughters guardians Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus." With that the two Senshi's bowed respectfully to the King and Queen. "I am sorry but my daughter was unable to attend today. She recently has become ill with influenza." Queen Serenity said. With a shocked glance coming from the two Senshi's. "That is quite alright Queen Serenity," said King Damian, "This here is my son Prince Endymion." Giving Endymion the cue to stand up and bow. Queen Serenity gave a smile and nod. And with that the six people started on there arrangements with there plans to step toward the time, Silver Millennium. "I think we should connect the two hugest kingdoms in the universe. Which is your kingdom, Queen Serenity and mine." Said Queen Gaia. "That is a splendid idea. That way we will be able to help both our Kingdoms if in need. Kinda like a partnership. But how will we do such an idea?" Queen Serenity pointed out. "Maybe we could we go through a spiritual process." Suggested King Damian. "No, a spiritual process can be forgotten easily. Something that will stand in time forever." "Something like that would have to be big. So nobody forgets it!" "Yes! That's why we must connect our Kingdoms by marriage! But who should we marry?" Queen Gaia said. "We could marry some important political daughter and son." King Damian suggested. "Yes. But that is not quite big enough! How about we marry your daughter and our son!" Queen Gaia said. "That is a splendid idea!" Queen Serenity and King Damian agreed. That caught Prince Endymion's attention. He had not been listening from the cause of boredom. He on his mind did not want to marry Princess Serenity. Since their kingdom is not well known yet he had heard many rumors about her. Such as many men are fooled by her great beauty but in the end they are heartbroken by her selfish attitude. Or that she cares for no one but herself because she was brought in a luxurious world that she grew up to be a mean spoiled bratty princess. There were many other rumors and they all pointed to a negative side. ~~~~~ several hours later Princess Serenity feeling quite well walked down the streets of Tokyo, the city on earth where the Kingdom was held. She wore her creamy colored princess gown and over that a black cloak to cover her. Beside her were her two other guardians Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury. They too were wearing a black cloak. They didn't want to attract attention with the fancy and fighting clothes they were wearing. Princess Serenity marveled at how the city glowed in the night. It might have at her kingdom but she was always stuck inside the palace because of her over protective mother and never really got to see the hugeness of the city. After awhile the three women came upon a festival like area. There was entertainment and loads of people dancing. Princess Serenity joined in all of the festivities. Always having her two guardians closely behind her. Prince Endymion wandered through the crowds of the festival searching for some excitement. The festival was in honor of him and the princess getting married. Because of that reason all the women kept there distance. He hated that. He wanted to have fun on his last nights of being single. "I wonder what an occasion could be called to bring up such a festival. You! Why is this festival being held?" Princess Serenity said. "Why you don't know! Why it is the biggest thing going around all of Tokyo and soon all of earth. Why Mi' Lady Prince Endymion is getting married!" shouted the stranger which brought a few cheers from the crowd. Delighted Serenity turned to her two friends. "This is wonderful!" "Why is that?" "If the Prince gets married to such a girl, that I pity, I won't be able to get stuck an arrangement made by our parents!" "Why Serenity how can you say such a thing!?! You don't even know this Prince and you already say nasty things about him!" "Well on the Moon all the people say he is a spoiled, selfish, mean, uncaring bratty prince who grew up in a luxurious world!" "SERENITY! You can not judge the Prince on a rumor you heard. Most of those people don't even know the Prince!" "But yes I can. I do believe the fact that is going around! Now no more small talk about this unpleasant atmosphere. I want to have some fun here at this festival before we have to report back at my mother!" "Hello! My name is Roger! And I wanted to know if you wanted to dance." Roger said indicating toward Sailor Mars! Mars looked at Serenity unsure if she should leave her. But the look in her eyes gave the permission for Mars to except. "Sure," About five minutes later a young man name Jeff came over and asked Mercury to dance. Serenity gave her the same gaze and then Mercury took off dancing. Serenity wandered through the crowd watching the marvelous events taking place. Suddenly someone put a hand on her shoulder. Serenity turned around expecting to see one of her two guardians but instead saw a young man who was not at least properly dressed and stank of a awful smell. The way he acted gave off the information that he was drunk. "Hey babe," he said, whispering in Serenity's ear, "how about we leave this festival and get cozy in each other's arms!" Serenity backed away from him but he just followed. "Leave me alone you ill dis-mannered man!"Serenity yelled. He just took her by the wrist and pulled her close causing a scream to come from her. "She is just my wife and has had a little to much to drink! I am just taking her home!" Said the stranger to the crowd who were staring at them with curiosity at why Serenity screamed! Everyone just went on their way. He pulled Serenity closer so she could feel his awful smelling breath on her face. "Now how about a kiss for good time sakes dearest." the stranger said laughing. Serenity was about to be kissed by a disgusting man and if just on cue she screamed hoping to catch the attention of her two guardians but instead caught the attention from Prince Endymion who was standing near by. Prince Endymion saw who had screamed. A petite blonde girl who was being held in the arms of a man rather roughly. He ran to her rescue. He grabbed the man throwing him to the ground. Just then two girls ran to the side of the petite blonde one. "Serenity are you alright? We heard you scream and came here as quick as we could!" Mars whispered. Serenity nodded still a little frightened but feeling better. "Golly Princey you seem rather over protected with this girl since you are getting married to the moon princess!" said the stranger. That time it caught Serenity's attention. "What do you mean the moon princess is getting married to Prince Endymion here?" "It's the biggest news going around girly! You need to be more social!" "But you don't understand! The moon princess can't be getting married to the prince because I am the moon princess!" "HAHAHA! Yea right girly and I am the king of mars!" Ignoring him, Serenity turned backed to her two guardians. "Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, am I getting married to the prince?" "Maybe. We don't know. That news probably came up when your mother was at the meeting arrangement. We weren't there, we were with you Princess Serenity." Sailor Mars said. "Oh my god!! You are the moon princess!" said the stranger. But Serenity never heard him say such a comment because she fainted falling to the ground followed by her two guardians. Serenity woke up in a very comfortable bed. Fluffy pillows laid all around her. "Well, I see you are awake. From what I heard from Sailor Mars and Sailor Mercury you found out the planned marriage between you and the prince," Serenity turned her head towards her mother. "Mama, I don't want to marry the prince! I am only 14!" "Daughter, you shall marry the prince in a week but you shall not live with him until you turn 18. That is when you will have your full powers and will be able to take your rightful place as Queen of the Universe. This marriage will connect the Earth Kingdom and the Moon Kingdom, so to be sure there are no battles in upcoming years. Brothers and sisters would not want to fight against each other," "Mama! Please. I do not love him! I love Peter!" Serenity said recalling the brown headed boy she knew back at home. "Serenity. I have wanted to tell you this but I knew it would break you heart. Can't you see Peter does not love you. He only want to become a ruler. Daughter..." "MAMA! Stop it! You are just telling me that because you want me to marry the prince. Well I won't listen to what you say!" Serenity yelled at her mother. The Queen was now becoming frustrated with her uncooperative daughter. "I have had enough of this Serenity! You will get out of that bed and fix your self up this instance! You are going to go and meet the Royal Family now!" Queen Serenity said with her powerful tone she only bestowed upon servants back at home. Serenity sighed. She knew she could not win. She got out of bed and fixed her hair before following her mother to the meeting room. When she got there, she saw the Royal family and her guardians and the prince's guardians engaged in a conversation. The four Senshi's were flirting with the four commanders and the family was discussing the marriage. Everyone silenced when they saw the princess and queen come in. "Welcome Princess Serenity. I am hoping you are feeling better. Your mother said you were sick with influenza," Queen Gaia said. Serenity put on her prettiest smile and bowed to the queen and king after giving her mother a look of surprise. "Yes I am feeling much better your majesties. It was kind of you to ask," "Hmph. Like you were feeling sick before," Endymion said under his breath. No one heard him but Serenity. Everyone was listening to Gaia talk about how nasty influenza is. She just glared at him. "Now lets talk about this marriage. Where should we wed them?" Queen. Gaia, King Damian, and Queen Serenity were about the only ones discussing the marriage. Serenity was to busy sulking. Endymion was to busy staring into space. And the Senshi's were to busy flaunting there bodies. You can probably guess what the commanders were doing. Once the meeting was done Serenity, her mother, and the four Senshi's left. The marriage was set for a week on a Saturday, at noon, in the palace gardens. On Saturday Serenity refused to get out of bed. She wouldn't get out until Queen Serenity came and zapped her out with her powers. Serenity dressed in her regular princess out fit. She would have worn jeans and a shirt but her mother was hovering over. She tried to make her less appealing so maybe the royal family would think her a slob and would not their son to marry her. But no matter what she tried she always looked stunning. When she finally gave up her golden hair was even brighter before. It flowed all around her in golden threads. Her face seamed to lose its glow but nevertheless it was still beautiful. Then the time came. She walked reluctantly down to the Palace Gardens where the wedding was being held. She waited in the palace that was already deserted except for her mother and friends, her brides maids, Sailor Mars the Maid of Honor. Each Senshi was dressed in a long flowing dress that made them look stunning. The dress matched the color of their Senshi uniform. All to soon the music started and the Senshi's walked off down the aisle. When they reached the halter they stopped and the music changed to the original bridal tune. Her mother smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek. Serenity stepped out into the bright sunlight. She walked down the long red aisle. On her sides people of the Earth and Moon Kingdom sat. She looked and saw the prince. He did look stunning in his armor. Once she reached the alter the music stopped and she faced her soon to be husband. The priest started the ceremony. He made the usual speech about how two people should love each other. "Prince Endymion, do you take Princess Serenity to be your lawfully wedded wife," the priest said. "I do," there was no hesitant in the prince's voice although his eyes showed a blankness that only Serenity saw. "Princess Serenity, do you take Prince Endymion to be your lawfully wedded husband," when the priest said those words to Serenity, she was hesitant. She looked around, they Royal Family were smiling at there child, her mother was beaming at her, her guardians were passing looks of encouragement, and the commanders were staring intently at the Senshi's. "I do," she said in a low whisper. "Then with the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!" A small gasp came from Serenity, that no one heard. She suddenly realized what was coming next. She never noticed it before but this was the moment of the wedding she most dreaded. The only moment in her entire life where she will actually let Endymion's lips touch hers. She looked up and sure enough Endymion had already closed his eyes and was leaning towards her. She closed her eyes waiting for the moment to be over. If everyone was expecting a deep kiss they were soon disappointed. Endymion just gave her a soft peck. But even so she still felt disgusted. That night she fell asleep crying softly and silently. She didn't want any one else to know how miserable she felt. ***Fours Years Later**** Serenity's eighteenth birthday came and went. It was like any other birthday party except this time Prince Endymion came. They haven't seen each other since after the wedding. Serenity had persuaded her mother into going home early. Now since Serenity is eighteen she must go and live the prince and try to pursue a happy married life. Serenity tried to enjoy her last night on the Moon but she just couldn't keep her mind from wondering about the terrible nights she would be with the prince. At the party she would often see the prince flirting with girls, obviously a lot were interested in him but had to put him down considering he was a married man. Even Serenity's own mother hadn't let her enjoy a peaceful relationship. She didn't go to her high school prom nights because she was to embarrassed to go alone. When the party ended Serenity stalked off to her room. She was exhausted. The whole night was of dancing and eating. She fell asleep before her mother could come and say good night. The next morning Serenity was awoken early. She was quickly dressed so she could leave with the prince to earth. She rushed off to the palace gates and there she met her mother and guardians. She could see her mother with tears in her eyes threatening to fall. "Mother don't cry," Serenity said happily, a smile on her face. Her mother smiled back at her and embraced her tears falling from her eyes any ways. Afterwards the Senshi's boarded the ship. Serenity turned from her mother and looked at the prince. He looked the same although older and much more handsome. Endymion was thinking the same. He thought Serenity did look more beautiful. She had grown out of her childish body and into a more womanly figure. Serenity walked up to the prince. "Hello Prince Endymion," Serenity said, a look of serious on her face. She curtsied and went inside the shuttle beside the Senshi's. The trip to earth was long and hard. Serenity couldn't keep her gaze from not traveling back to the handsome prince beside her. She felt uncomfortable in his presence yet she also felt right sitting so close to him. Once they got Earth, Serenity and the Senshi's were to their rooms. The Senshi's rooms were by the commanders room and, of course, Serenity shared a room with Endymion. She walked silently into the room, reluctant to see her guardians walk away. She heard the gently patter of the prince's feet as he too walked into the room. Serenity looked at the prince's bed. It was fairly large. Could probably fit a family of four on it. But even so, Serenity did not like it. She did not like the idea of he and the prince sharing a bed. She turned around to face the prince. He was watching her intently. He saw the thought by looking at her eyes. He too had the same question in his eyes. Frustrated with not being presented with a answer soon, Serenity turned around and stormed to the restroom locking the door on her way in. She changed into her night gown and let her hair down from its odango's. Her golden hair cascaded down her back. She brushed it thoroughly. When she was done she silently stepped out. The lights were turned off but enough moonlight was shining through the windows for her to see. Endymion had already went to bed. His black hair messily fell over his closed eyes. Serenity noted he did look very handsome. Serenity walked over to the side of the bed in which Endymion was not sleeping on. She pulled back the covers and climbed in. Once her head hit the pillow she instantly fell asleep. Endymion woke up to the bright light of the sunshine. It was about 7:00 am. He felt a presence next to him. He knew who it was. Yet he didn't want to turn around and face her. He slowly got out of the bed not wanting to wake the sleeping princess. Once out he did turn and face her. She was sleeping still. Her hair created a fan about her hiding her from the world of reality. Her blue eyes were closed. In the sun she looked like a sleeping angel. He went to the restroom and dressed quietly. He put on his silver armor and black cape. When he stepped out the restroom Serenity was up and awake. She was still dressed in her night gown which was made of silver silk. Endymion noted she looked peaceful and angelic when asleep but when she was awake she looked like a beautiful burning fire read for the day. Serenity turned around when she heard noise behind her. She saw Prince Endymion. He was fully dressed. He did look rather handsome. "Good morning Princess," Endymion said to her. Serenity stood up regally. "Good morning Endymion," he walked past her and out the door. Serenity set herself on getting ready for the new day. Endymion sat down at the rather large table with his four guardians. They received there breakfast and began eating. A while later the princess and her four guardians stepped into the dining room. Serenity was dressed in her usual princess attire and the Senshi's were also dressed in their fuku's. The five men stood up in respect as the ladies walked in. The ladies took their seat and sat down. They to received their breakfast. None of the people in the dining room could not feel her presence.. Yet she was still watching them. Her red evil eyes watching in hatred as the princes wife stepped into the room. "They are not even in love! Why did he marry her?!?" Beryl said. Her voice echoing through the dark caverns. Her red hair gleamed as she continued on brushing it. The strokes of it running through sharply. "I want Prince Endymion. And I will get him. If I have to kill that little Princess I will! I will get Prince Endymion and keep him for my own!" Beryl yelled at the glass that projected the prince and princess. Her evil laugh could be heard thought out the halls of the cavern. After breakfast ended the Senshi's and Serenity were left alone. "What shall we do today?" "Well we don't know about you , Princess, but the Senshi's and I were planning on training," Sailor Mars said. Serenity sighed. She knew this was going to be a boring day. She left the Senshi's after awhile of watching them. She was really fascinated by the ways the easily were able to fight. There kicks were precise and exact. The moves were graceful and their running was fast. Serenity left them and walked down the grand hallway. Every once in while she would spot a servant or maid scurry by. But they were all to busy to talk to her. Back at home she had many friends among the maids and servants of her palace. They would always get together and talk. But here she knew no one. Without the Senshi's beside her she felt all alone. Serenity soon came to the Palace Gardens. Out of all the places in the palace this was her favorite place to be. She loved flowers and grew them back at home. Here, on earth, she loved the flowers even more. She loved to look at the new kinds on earth. She never knew of water lilies, or daisy's, or even sunflowers until she came to earth. Her favorite earth flower was the rose. Particularly the red one. She loved it when it was still to bud. She liked to watch it when it bloomed. To her the rose was mysterious flower ready to present them selves to her. The rose mildly reminded her of Endymion. Although he lacked one important prospect. He was not willingly showing himself to her. Maybe that was partially her fault. Serenity walked through the peaceful gardens. But soon the peacefulness was destroyed by a rather large yell. Serenity ran towards the yell and was surprised to see Endymion alone. He had taken his cape and armor off and was wearing the garments beneath. He was training with his sword. Serenity had never seen such talent. Her mother had always hidden her away when the boys at the palace practiced their swordsmanship. Serenity stood watching, until Endymion turned around and spotted her. He stopped and faced. Sweat gleaming on his face. "Hello Princess," "Oh! I'm sorry if I am intruding! I didn't mean to. I was just walking when I heard a noise and...,"Endymion chuckled at her. "It is quiet all right princess. I am actually glad I spotted you. It reminds me I should get ready for dinner. And so should you,"Endymion said. Serenity looked down at her. Dirt had gathered at the end of her dress and there were black smudges visible on her face and hands, from when she was in the garden. "Yes, your right," she said. She looked up at Endymion. He was looking at her. He walked over to her and offered her his arm. She took it and they walked to their room together. Both were confused at the strange feelings they felt for each other. They both never had felt such a feeling before. Again the prince and princess were oblivious to the strange women that was watching them. She was clutching a her brush so hard it shattered. She hated the way the prince and princess were walking together... so intimately. The princess and prince ran into the room. If they didn't hurry in showering and changing they would be late for dinner. In the bathroom there were two shower stalls. The prince and princess oblivious that they would be nude in each other's presence. Each taking a stall, they undressed inside. They turned the water on to luke warm and began washing. Endymion was the first to finish. He stepped out of his stall, a towel wrapped around his waist. Serenity soon afterwards finished. She stepped out a towel wrapped around her body. Once she did Endymion eyes her and she eyed him. They stood there looking at each other. Now taken the fact that they had both grown up into a very mature body. Endymion had a lean chest. His muscles could easily be seen. Serenity's legs were longer and more shapely. Her waist was thinner and breast were mildly bigger. Serenity was the one to break the silence. She ran out of the bathroom mumbling something about how they should hurry. She quickly grabbed a clean dress. She put it on after drying her self. When Endymion stepped out of the bathroom, Serenity was almost ready. Her hair still needed to be dried and put up. She walked into the bathroom and started to brush her hair. It was hard to brush the long strands. She always had a maid or one of her Senshi's brush it for her. Endymion saw Serenity struggle with her hair. With out thinking he reached over and took the brush from her hand. He brushed though her hair with surprising ease. (was that sentence corny?) Serenity stared at his reflection though the mirror. He was staring intently at her hair. Once he was done Serenity said a meek thank you and put her hair up with shaking hands. Once she was done, the prince and princess ran towards the dining room. Serenity left little drops of water on the floor as droplets fell from the tips of her still wet hair. Serenity and Endymion made it just in time for main course. The Commanders and Senshi's were curious as to why they were late. Soon the meal was served and the people ate in silence. "Could you please pass the mashed potatoes?" Sailor Mars said. Serenity reached for the bowl and passed it to Endymion to give to Mars. But unexpectedly, Serenity missed Endymion's out stretched hands and accidently dropped the bowl into onto his lap. The mashed potatoes went everywhere. Everyone stared at the horrific site. Serenity was the first to break the silence by letting out a loud laugh. Soon everyone was trying to smother in laughter. Endymion was the only one who wasn't laughing. He picked up a glob of potatoes and flung it at Serenity. Serenity was to busy laughing to see the glob come to her. It hit her in the face. Serenity absent-mindedly scooped up a handful of peas and threw that at Endymion. Endymion dodged the peas and it hit Sailor Mercury who was trying to study among the festivities. The peas stained her book. Outraged she picked up her glass of wine and sprayed the it at Serenity. Now keep in mind this liquid. The red liquid hit everyone. This started the big food fight that the maids and servants were very angry about, knowing full well they were the ones who were going to clean it up. Everyone walked to there rooms still laughing. Once calmed down Serenity and Endymion looked at each other. They both felt a new feeling. They both knew what it was. They both loved each other. Serenity was not willing to admit this. She smiled at Endymion and made her way to the bathroom to shower. She stood under the water letting it wash out all the food from her body and hair. She never heard her the stall door open and close. She soon felt Endymion's strong arms pull her into his embrace. Serenity noted he was nude. Endymion's face snuggled between the curve of Serenity's neck and shoulder. "Serenity, I love you," he whispered to her. Before setting his lips on hers. In the morning Serenity woke up to the sound of birds singing. She still felt Endymion's arm around her. She only snuggled deeper into his embrace as the memories of the previous night came to her mind. When night fall came Serenity and Endymion were found in each other's arms. The were sitting in the gardens looking up at the sky happy to be together. They both didn't notice the shadow watching them. Her red eyes glowed. She was angry at the prince. Angry for loving the princess. Forgetting her vow to catch the prince. She sent evil energy separating the lovers. Serenity screamed. Her head hit the hard concrete. She fell unconscious. Endymion quickly got up and went to Serenity's side, whispering her name, trying to wake her. Beryl stepped out of the shadows. She quickly started to gather her powers. She aimed her mind at Serenity who was now helpless. Endymion saw what Beryl was going to do. He jumped in front of Serenity just as Beryl released her power. The energy hit him full blast killing him. Serenity lifted her head. She was still groggy from the hit on her head but she still saw Endymion sacrifice his life for her. She saw his limp form fall down. Serenity sobbed. She cradled Endymion's head in her lap, saddened by his death. She could hear Beryl laugh at her sadness. In the light she saw Endymion's sword glint. She placed a hand on it and pulled it from him. She stood up and carried the heavy sword above her. The last thing she heard was the yelling of the commanders and the Senshi's as the she plunged the sword into her. She knew she could not live a life with out her love. So she wanted to be with her love in spirit. The Senshi's stared as their princess killed her self. Tears dropped from their eyes. They could feel Beryl's energy flowing around them. They watched as their loves, the commanders, were taken from them. They died trying to protect the earth kingdom.
