The manga: In the manga, we meet Purin in the first chapter, but know nothing about her. At the end of volume one, chapter four, we see her again, preforming at the zoo. After preforming for Ichigo and Aoyama, she recieves...candy. ^^;; A very angry Purin chases Ichigo, causing her cat ears and tail to pop up. ^_^ Skipping ahead...in chapter six, Purin is about to be stepped on by a Chimera-Anima, when she changes into Mew Pudding! ^.^ After doing her attack, Ichigo finishes off with Ribbon Strawberry Check, of course.
The anime This summary will be lots longer than the manga verison... The anime is lots more different than the manga. When we first meet Purin in the anime, she is preforming in the park. Ichigo had just gotten done shopping for groceries, so decided to rest at the park. After Purin preformed for a group of people, she amazes Ichigo with her talent. ^_^ Yes, talent. Shes extremly talented XD Once Ichigo starts to leave, Purin starts harassing Ichigo for money, which finally leads to Ichigo's kitty ears and tail popping out. So, we skip ahead to the part where a very mad Ichigo yells at Purin (that was mean of Ichigo, hm? o.O). So moving past many non-Purin-related scenes, Purin is still trying to get her kitty ears (Ichigo told her a way to, though it obviously wasn't the way she got them...I skipped alot of things), when Kisshu shows up, telling Purin [crap] that he is an angel that will make her wish come true. ^_^ Purin's not stupid, so she tells Kisshu right out that angels don't have evil faces like him, basiclly that he isn't one. ^^ While in the middle of a fight between the Mew Mews and a Chimera-Anima, Purin goes in front of an attack to save Ichigo and the others, when she gets...ears! Finally she changes into Mew Pudding, does her attack, and the fight ends like any others. XD
