Nickname(s): Kawa usually; sometimes Kawa-chan or Kawaii-chan; very rarely will I use Mae except in RL.
Age: Just turned 13 on July 9! ^_^ I know, I'm a bit young for an otaku, but who gives?
Likes: Anime, writing, fanfiction, NEOPETS! (ahem), fantasy books...talking on the phone, guarding my journal with my life...the colors red, gold, and blue (explaining why I chose pink and purple as my theme)...my favorite authors...what else? Oh, you mean bishounen likes! Chang Wufei, Syaoran Li...um...*thinks: What's Van's last name in Escaflone?* and Van. Whatever his last name is, I'm not too much into Escaflone but I adore him. Wufei...Syaoran...Van...! ^_^ [Don't worry, Diyosa, Van is yours. Just let me have Syaoran, 'K?] I used to like Koushiro Izumi of Digimon as well. And I have a Scorchio. A blue Scorchio named Erin...and now a blue Koi named Mirai Karissa who accidentally got spotted. >.<
Dislikes: People who claim to be anime characters; people who diss Wufei -_- you're dealing with the wrong girl if you do; people against Pokemon/Digimon. They're anime too, y'know.... And people who flame with grammar and spelling errors. and people who bash in general and well...fan rape!
Anime obsessions: Gundam Wing, Card Captor Sakura, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Oh-Ki [love it!], Pokemon [has faded], Digimon [can't watch anymore, waiting for Tamers to show in the US], Monster Rancher [a litte...I didn't get to see enough while it lasted], Escaflone [if I could see more], Fuushigi Yuugi [if I could see more], Sailor Moon [used to], Dragon Ball Z [a little...I'm waiting for more to show in the US.], and Gundam: The 08th MS Team [love the idea of Shino and Aina! They're SOOOO cool together! And not to mention poor Miguel's relationship with Bebe.... ^_^ Not to be compared to Gundam Wing, but it's still great nonetheless.]
Favorite Couplings: 5XMeiran, 3XMidii, 2XH (a little), 6X9, 13X11 (TKXLU, if you didn't know Une's number is 11), S&S, Taiora, Jyoumi, Takari, Miyori (Miyako+Iori, don't kill me), AAML (Pokeshipping, if they still use that term), Genki&Holly (is there a term for it?), ShinoXAina (is there a term for it?), ElenorXKaren, MiguelXBebe, and...oh yeah, Combo Unite! 5XS1, 1XN1, 2XP1, 4XN2, 13XMinashi!
Favorite Authors: Scratch (fellow Wufei fan!), Catseye (RL friend of mine, insane like me), Ashura (yaoi, but GREAT), Fablespinner (yaoi...but really good nonetheless), Lady Orla (5XSP, but beautifully done), and others.
Other: I am rumored to be very, very moody and very, very insane. If you insult Wufei or Meiran in my presence, expect your head to be cut off by a kitchen knife in the near future. Since I rely upon dubs (exception Fuushigi Yuugi, which I watched at the Asian Festival subtitled, and Mobile Suit Gundam, which I read online), I may be very inexperienced in what's going on in the series.
Contreversies: My Viewpoint
Trowa/Catherine: They're siblings, it's incest, but those who don't know have a right to believe that they'd be cute together. It makes good fics, too.
Yaoi/yuri: I don't like it, but I don't hate it either. It makes good fics...and sometimes it's not half bad. Like Niobe's Violets by Ashura...1X2, 3X4, RXD, HXC, and very good. I liked it.
Relena: Annoying, yes, but people have their own opinions.... I don't bash Relena-lovers, though I may make an insult now and then.
Canon/non-canon: I believe in non-canon mostly, if the Episode Zero couplings are non-canon (which they probably are, look at 5XSP vs. 5XMei.) But those who like canons have the right to believe so. And I do like a few canons too.
Dubs: Some dubs are horrible, others are good. But dubs are good for those who can't always be staring at the bottom at the same time...or for those who don't readily have access to tapes. I think the Gundam Wing dub is REALLY good for an American dub voice-wise...I like the one they showed on the Midnight Run, which was uncensored. My compromise is an uncensored dub like Gundam Wing...good voices, plus uncensored advantage.
Episode Zero: I like. I ADORE. I believe in both of the Ep Zero couplings (3XMidii, 5XMei) and I'm actually the 5XMei no Seishi. ^_^ It's really informative and gives a nice background to base upon.
Wufei: I LOVE WUFEI!! How much must I stress the fact? He's chauvinistic but has a very good reason behind it, and I don't see why people skewker his character so that he's so...so unlikeable, just because he's uptight, believes in justice, and doesn't want women to fight. Treize: I don't like Treize. He's scary. I really don't like 13X5 fics, they scare me. Some of the worst ones have made me puke. But really, people have a right to their own opinons.
Cats or Dogs?: Gators. Chinese alligators. [Y'know, the word for "alligator" in Chinese is the same for "dragon", and so it's suspected that's what they mean. ^_^] Also thanks to one of Catseye's fics, in which she mentions Wufei having a pet alligator named Meiran who nees her due sacrifice yet. I don't think it's published yet. ^___^ Salamat po! ^_^V Um...if I had to choose? Gimme both. I know a cat lover and a dog lover and I wish not to anger either, thank you! They're both cute anyway.
The UC Timeline in the US: GREAT! I adore Gundam: The 08th MS Team. I'm not really watching Mobile Suit Gundam but from what I've read it's great too. ^_^ (I've been reading episode scripts of the translation....)
My Fictions
I started off in the fanfiction world with a beautiful AAM fic called Misty's Goodbye which is still standing on FanFiction.Net. That is my one and only Pokemon fic, and I am not planning any more until Catseye finishes Erin's Tales, which I am planning to continue for her. Then I went on to Digimon, which most of my fics to date are, with two cruddy Tenchi Muyo! fics and one REALLY horrible Harry Potter one. I am a romance writer, and I write about many couplings.
Recently I have tackled both the Gundam Wing and Card Captor Sakura fandoms with my latest four fics: Dream Forever, Solitary Dragon is a short and sappy 5XMei, Shenlonia's Journey is a discontinued story about a reincarnated Meiran going off to find what she doesn't know, Introspection is a 5XMei and my first 3XMidii combined, and Petals Fall is a continuing S&S that I personally adore.
For all the fans of said fics: I am planning to add two more parts to Introspection: a 3XMidii alternate which is less angsty and a 5XSP continuation of the 5XMei pieces. Petals Fall will be in four parts; the next is Meilin's, then Tomoyo's. All of the other fics are either finished or discontinued. Catseye will work on Erin's Tales when she gets the chance, and when she's done, the gang will grow up and I'll take over and show you how Digimon fits into it. <plug author="Catseye">[PS: Read her fic Too Late, the prolouge, first if you're an AAM fan. Combination Unite is a series I have tried to get off the ground, but it's so complex and I keep getting new ideas so it never gets through: a group of otakus find themselves having to battle evil in both their own world and in many anime with the new powers they have just recieved...a shameless Mary Sue of myself and my friends going off and getting our G-boys, amongst other things. *glomps Wufei* If you want to find out more, e-mail me or give me an IM; I'll be glad to give details. ^_^
My other plans (besides Combination Unite and continuing certain fics) include a 5XMei...Wufei fins Meiran's diary of their marriage and reads it. I've always wanted to do a diary-style fic, since I seem to do so well at POVs, see Introspection for what I mean.... If I get the right jist and a little nudge, I'll also write a Tamora Pierce fic. If I'm lucky, I may also write another S&S...it's titled Cherries for the Cherry Blossom, a humor/romance on Sakura's b-day. And there are possibly more 3XMidiis coming your way as well. Yum.
