Prelude to a new fic It’s morning on the island, and the cast and crew of GOURRIGAN’S ISLAND are standing around, awaiting the arrival of the guest writer called Warrior Saturn. While they’re seated at the tables having breakfast, a doorway appears in nearby air, and a figure clad in a green bathrobe, grey sweatshirt with a dark blue pawprint on the chest, black windpants, and fuzzy purple cabbit slippers steps forth, a box of tissues in one hand, a steaming mug of tea in the other. person: "Good morning *cough* everyone." The crew looks up and blink at the newcomer. Amelia: "M...mister Alex? Are you feeling ok?" The person sneezes a couple of times before blowing his nose. The action sounds remarkably like a fog horn. Alex: "Yeah, it’s me, your friendly guest writer. I’m gonna have to put my work on hold for a while." Lina: "Why? What’s wrong this time? More work?" Alex (sneezes): "Nope. I let my defenses down for one weekend and the world’s worst cold got hold of me so now I’m *cough* sicker than a dog." Xellos: "Yeah, you don’t look like your usual sadistic self." Alex forms an energy sword that’s black with a green glow to it. Alex: "Watch it mazoku. This is known as a virul blade, which is a Ragna Blade imbued with my cold germs. I hit you with this and you’ll wind up sicker than I am right now." Zelgadis: "So how much of the new fic do you have written?" Alex (sneezing a couple more times): "I have a title and a concept. It’s going to be called ‘Little Shower Stall of Horrors’ and it has to do with what’s living UNDER the island." Amelia visibly recoils. Lina thinks of what could be down there and shudders. Even Xellos seems a little weirded out, but he’s busy thinking about whose shower to pop into. Zelgadis impales him with an Elmekia Lance. Zelgadis: "You sick fruitcake! You even THINK of appearing in the shower with me and you’ll get worse than this." Alex (yawning): "Save it for the fic. I’m going back to bed and sleep until this thing is gone. Laters everyone." He opens the door and steps through, leaving the cast to wonder what lies in store for them. To Be Continued...
