Mononoke

"The story of Princess Mononoke is rather very facinating. With all the right engreadiances and the ups and downs, needed to make a great story. It has all the great things about how everything in life belongs. Even the war that endlessly rages on between the mountain forest gods and humanity. This story is a fairy tale beyond all. Beautifly told and beautifly drawn into your imagination.
This story is about early times in the Japanese forest. When the samurai were not that known as good and the world was almost untouched by humans. A young prince of the Emishi Tribe, a tribe thought to be wiped out 500 years ago. Had to protect his village from a demon. But after he killed it, he got cursed. And the wise woman

told Ashitaka: 'First the curse will tear your soul apart and then slowly kill you.' For then Ashitaka decided to go West and find out what made the boar become a demon. But unfortunatly he gets stuck playing peace-maker between the forest gods and the humans of Tatara Ba(Iron Town). And discovers a beautiful young woman named San. But there's so much between them..."

The young Prince of the Emishi people. He is a great and skilled warrior. He is very in love with the Wolf-Girl, San. But with his righteous heart and human feelings he doesn't quite understand San as he thinks he does.

San, a.k.a. Princess Mononoke. She was raised by the Wolf God Moro. "When her parents saw me they trew their baby to my feet and ran away. Instead of eating her I raised her as my own, My ugly, poor, beautiful daughter, is neither Wolf nor Human." Said The Wolf Goddess. Lost in the conflict between her human self and her family. She is deeply in love with Ashitaka. "I'm sorry Ashitaka. I love you, but I cannot forgive the humans for what they did." She says in the end to him.

Lady Eboshi, has her own strong and weak point. She is very nice in heart but sometimes can be very wreckless for what she want or beliefs in. She is strong in heart and spirit and thats what makes her so attractive and loved by everyone. She is the misstress of Tatara Ba. And is leading them up to a prosperous future. She hires any woman. She saves women from prostitution and slavery and gives them jobs in Tatara Ba. To make Ishibiya. A gun-like weapon.

Gonza is always the one looking out and standing side to Lady Eboshi. He always thinks high of himself but always gets put down even by someone like Toki. Yet he loves and is very devoted to the Lady himself.

Moro is the wolf god that raised San. She, who oopses humans still loves her daughter dearly. She is a wise goddess and a very good guardian for the forest of the Shishi god(The God of Life and Death). She is around 300 years old. She once got shot by one of the bullets from Eboshi's Ishibiya. And now bears a deep wound in her chest. She can also be selfish but she is a well composed as Eboshi. But she hates Lady Eboshi most of all.

Jigo is a rather weird kind of person in the story...He says that he is a monk but no one actually knows for sure. But he is said to be from some secret organization; Shishou Ren (the masters' coalition?). And he is under orders to get the Shishi god's head, which is said to bring eternal life to anyone that has it.

Toki is a very spirited woman? Can I actually say that? Well all I DO know that I could really say about her is that she is very brave. She may seem a bit scrumpy pushing foot bellows at Tatara Ba but she sure knows how to prove her point. She could easily out-talk anyone. Including Gonza. And always scolds her husband Kouroku. But still seems to love him dearly.
