| Valic has lived as a Vampire for two hundred and sixty-seven years, his life as a Human are nothing but shadows as he was just a small boy when he was embraced into the life of a Vampire. As he grew, he was taught by the elders to hunt, with the knowledge he would take his place as a fellow hunter for the clan on his eighteenth birthday, the day he would complete maturity. Valic's remarkable abilities as a swordsman earned him respect. Must angst consumed the clan for the day he would make them proud, and slaughter victims by the thousands. The day arrived. The local King's army were prepared. The clan struck out with full force, tearing through village after village, an orgy of pillaging, raping and murdering. Valic found himself dumbstruck at the carnage surrounding him. He wept for the lives lost and did what he could to save surviving Humans. A young man on his last breath handed Valic his sword, begging him to return it to its rightful place. Before he could further inquire, the man perished. With sword in hand, Valic escaped the terror, taking to a peaceful life in a distant land. he chose the career of selling lamps of all varieties, and quite enjoyed it. Valic, in all this time, did not associate with anyone, fearing spies from his vengeful clan. A warm Autumn day saw a young woman buying a few lamps from him. Before he knew it, a young Elf woman had barged into her, demanding to purchase one of her lamps. Valic tried to take the lamp from the Elf, politely requesting she relinquish her hold. She refused, and so they both tugged at it. Before long, the lamp slipped from their grasp, bouncing to the ground, cracking. Valic is now bound to this strange Elf, by the name of Kawaii. Every midnight their hands must touch, otherwise the pits of Hell with open up, anarchy reigning over the Earth. His task at first glance appears simple enough, except for the fact Kawaii loaths the Vampire race, refusing to acknowledge he is a man of honor with no desire to kill. Valic is ridiculed by her daily, with insults and a nick-name he cant't escape, "Batboy." Though she pays him no respect and herself shows many signs of insanity, Valic cares deeply for her and would protect her no matter how many insults she may conjure. Valic uses the sword given to him, the Sankeshoo Blade for combat. When transformed it turns from an average looking sword to a triple bladed sword of fine crystal with immense power. |
