Remember The Titans..

Wow, what can I say about this game.. Not much other than the girls got a good bum whuppin'  The girls lose to the Titans 40 - 15 and it really wasn't that close.  That is a team you can not let them run their offense or else you have no chance and the girls had no chance that day. 

But after seeing the Sol beat the Titans (twice this season), the Sol's formula for the Titans is to put pressure on Dani for 40 minutes and make the other girls beat them.  It worked to perfection for them, as good as Dani is, she was worn out near the end of the game and the Sol took advantage.  hmmm... I wonder if the girls should do that to the Venice point guard...

I think the girls can do well against this team (with a full team) and just play Tiger basketball.  Aggressive defense, run and bomb away.  If the girls could just relax and have fun playing the upper teams they will do just fine.  They still need to learn to play from behind and keep their composure.  But its been a great learning experience for them.  It's good for them to realize there are teams that are just as, or more talented then they are and they will have to give it 100% to be competitive.  It's just learning to give that 100% all the time...
