Reading Bush-Kerry poem, several readers commented that is it time to pack our bags and leave? Well, poems are never very straight forward in their message. Each one has its own interpretation. I had tried to infuse it with a dose of sarcasm. Because it is not that it does not matter who wins or loses but the fact is that we don't matter. We don't have a critical mass yet. And with the archaic system of electoral college actually even a state as big as California did not matter.
Anyhow, here is a poem that I wrote in response to those comments. We always have a love-hate relationship with life, women, God - basically everything that matters. As Nida Fazli wrote
