The Wheel of Mediocrity is loacted in Tyrannia. It costs 50NP to play but you can win up to 5,000NP. You can play once per hour.
The Wheel of Excitement is like the Wheel of mediocrity except it costs 100NP to play and you can win up to 10,000NP
The Healing Springs is the place to go if you lost a fight or if your pet is sick. The faerie can heal your pets, cute them of disease, and give you healing potions.
The Fruit Machine is a place to get a lot of free things. The times are totally random and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You can win NP, cheap desert food, and even paint brushes if you're lucky.
Coltzan's Shrine is the 2nd place you should visit in the Lost Desert. The Shrine can give you dubloons or even raise your active pet's stats.
The Tombola is located on Mystery Island. The times to get things are totally random just like the Fruit Machine. You can get codestones, faeries, food, booby prizes, and NP.

Here are some tips about buying and selling from the main stores and also from the Neopet Stores.
*These are the shop restock times. All are in NST and they occur after each hour: 01,09,14,25,31,36,46,57
*If you have a cable modem, you will be able to get very good deals on faeries and motes from the Magic Store in Neopia Central. Faeries will cost around 500NP and motes cost around the same or less.
*If you don't have a cable modem, but you still want faeries and such. There is hope for you yet. The garage sale in the Igloo on Terror Mountain sometimes stocks faeries and codestones along with a TON of other things. The igloo normally restocks about 30 seconds after the Neopians Central shops restock.
*This tip works for anyone. Everyone knows that there are some BIG selling items, like codestones, dubloons, and faeries. Some people do NOT know the price of these things. They will sell them in their shops for 500NP and seomtimes less. You need to take advantage of it. Use the shop wizard. Type in the name of the item you're looking for and then just keep refreshing until you find it for 1000NP or less. You can makes TONS of NP this way. Later when you make more money you can buys things at a higher price and get them in bulk and therefore increase your profit.
*Plushies, food, books, and medicine are sometimes very neglected markets. Food sells in the store from 2NP to 400NP. Some foods that you buy like baby food can sell for 50NP up to 100NP. You can even gets Neggs in here if you're right on time and that's with out a cable modem. Plushies are another good market. There are some really RARE plushies that are worth hundreds of thousands of NP. Books are another good source of income. They cost around 60NP to 1500NP in the book shop, but sell for much much more. Finally medicine. Neowart fungus restocks all the time and yet each one sell for over 1000NP because it is the current Wheel of Excitement disease. If you can, stock up on it.
If you follow this plan you can make 750NP each day by playing Poogle Solitaire. You can also get a Poogle toy by playing this game several times. These 1st number is the poogle you move and the 2nd number is where you need to move the 1st poogle to.
