| With all the real crap in world right now....these were the best I could come up with. 20.FUSS Just because I sat in my room in the dark in silence for 3 hours didn't mean something was wrong. As soon as I emerged there was this almighty 'Are you OK?' and 'Whats the matter?' Evereything was totally spiffing up until that point. Also when I'm ill and such I don't really want people coming in every five minutes asking if I'm okay, when all I want to do is sleep. Though the sort of good fuss you get on your birthday, like presents, that's ok. I get something from it. 19. THE MEDIA Can't they see that I want real facts I can form my own opinions from rather than a bunch of poopy about their opinion. is it some sort of brainwashing technique?? Because if it is it's not working. The worst media is probably got to be tabloid newspapers. They are SO bias. especially The Sun, not that I read it... 18.ADOBE ACROBAT READER, It always crashes my computer if i go onto something on Aol that is an Acrobat Reader thing, and I never know before I click on the link do I, so there really is no way of stopping it. It hates meh!!!! What did I ever do to it, eh? 17.THANK-YOU NOTES, what is the point of writing something that you could just as easily say? I'd understand if there was no other way of contacting these people than by letter, but when i could just say Thank-you straight to their face, writing out thank-you notes really is quite pointless. Well, i think it is. All theyre going to do is throw it away 10 minutes after you've given them it anyway, its a waste of peper and a waste of time. Even now i have specifically stated my reasons for not wanting to do thank-you notes, people will still moan at me if i dont write them. It's just annoying. 16. TEEN MAGAZINES They all tell teenagers to be something theyre not. And I have proof ( I think the main reason this bothers me so much is because I used to fake it, needless to say it didnt work). Also they cause teenagers to become uncomfertable about the way they look by putting pictures of skinny models and celebrities in there. I don't think it's right. 15. COMMUNISTS This should really be a little further down the list, number 4 or something, I go on about it enough, but anyway, what is with all their little idealistic dreams of fairness and equality? Peh... Anyway, most communist regimes end up crooked. Just the way it is and the way it should stay. Another thing I hate about communists, and socailists, is that they try to brainwash you. And unfortunatley it worked on em for about 6 months. I spent 6 months of my life as an idealistic pratt (no offense to any communists that may be reading. So long as you leave now). I'm sad and ashamed to say I was brainwashed by people in Southampton city centre with clipboards. 14. MENTAL BLOCKS I have one right now....Erm...errrrr.....I don't know what to say.... 13.FASHION, I don't like fashion. In fact I positively HATE fashion. For 3 primary reasons. 1] It's expensive 2] If you dont follow it you get criticised. 3] The big fashion chains are making so much profit whilst exploiting workers. Why do people want to always be the same as the person next to them?? So...the good things about fashion??? I really can't think of anything. 12.CHAIN E-MAILS, I've always wondered if there is a point to them, and i reached the conclusion there really isn't. I mean, who is gullable enough to beleive that a wish will come true if they send it to X amount of people?? They just waste time. 11.TEENAGE STATUS, townies, grungers, goths etc. Why can't people just be who they want anymore? Its almost like this stupid denial of a basic human right. And people get criticised for what group they do belong to, the townies hate the grungers and goths and the grungers and goths hate the townies. Then people bully people just because of some foddy group they belong to. How stupid is that?? 10.OPINIONS Don't get me wrong here, I do like opinions, but I'd much prefer it if no one had an opinion and never knew any difference. I wouldn't like it if no one was alowed an opinion, because thats just wrong, I suppose brainwashing could work. (*adds it to list of evil things to do in future* hmmmm...subliminal messaging...) 9. RAPISTS AND PAEDOPHILES What on earth posseses people to want to do icky things to other people? By the way, that was a rhetorrical question. I don't want it answered...I hope no one who comes here can answer it...*panics*. Anyway, they are one of the main comtributers to todays society's crapness and I think they are gross. 8. CIGARETTES also known as cancer sticks. Do people have a death wish or something?? Do they really hate their lives THAT much?? I really hate it whan you see teenagers smoking, they want to be cool...pfft. Do people not see these scary adverts about cancer and such? And why should the NHS waste, WASTE i say, money on people who smoke?? It's their own fault if they get ill because of it. 7. IGNORANCE For once I might have something really great to say, but I just get ignored. Pffft. 6. STERIOTYPERS When will people learn that just because I'm a teenager it doesn't mean I go around being an absolute thug and that I do care about things that don't just effect myself? I think outside that little thing in my head (a brain i think...) and i live outside that box I get stuffed in occasionaly by those awful steriotypers. It really does smell in that box. 5. PESSIMISTS All that negetivity!! I wouldn't really call myself an optimist, I'm just here, I'm not really either. Though the glass is always half full (unless theres more or less than half of course). Pessimists die earlier, it's proven, but they do have their uses. You can borrow money off them and they won't expect it back. 4. RELIGION What is with that?? I wasn't really too fussed about hating it so much until a certain un-named person came along and tried to turn me into a Christian (you know who you are...). I'm an atheist for the primary reason that religion had caused more conflict in the world than probably anything else, yet a lot of people still consider it as great, brilliant, the way forward. I beleive that all religion is founded on a a bunch of stories a bunch of people made up when they were bored. Don't get me wrong, they're rather good stories, but for whole societies to be based on, it's a bit much. 3. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS I suppose a better name for this one would be 'political correctness gone wrong'. I appreciate that a small amount of political correcness is sometimes neccesary but looking around today and some of the things I hear it's just got stupid. 2. FOOTBALL, soccer, that stupid game with a bunch of men kicking a ball around a field trying to get it into a net. What is with that?! And the way the players act as if they have the mental age of a 4 year old. Another thing about football that really annoys me is the hype. So many people seem obsessed with the damn thing. What is with the whole violence thing?! Its only a game for Christ sake!! 1. PEOPLE, human beings, whatever the damn things like to be called. I have to sadly admit i am one (looks ashamed). Why can't I be a cat or something that doesn't destroy everything in its path that it didnt make?? Admittidly not all people are total asses, just the vast majority. Anyway, what on earth possessed anyone into thinking we wouldnt have to pay for our destroyance of nature in the end, and no one dare tell me the world would be anarchy without human beings keeping it in order. LOOK AT THE RAINFOREST!!! well, the 1.5 billion acres we havent destroyed. Why do people think they are SO MUCH better than any other species when we are weak. Just because we have crappy weapons we have hardly any natural adaptations whatsoever. |
