Love Hina- a very cute and funny story. When he was little, the main male character, Urashima Keitaro, made a promise with a girl. She was his childhood sweetheart. Before she left they agreed to both get into Tokyo University (Toudai) because if two people love each other and go to Toudai they will find true happiness together. The unfortunate part is that Keitaru has forgotten the name of the girl he made the promise to, and fifteen years has past and he still has not gotten into Toudai. He gets kicked out of his home by his parents and ends up at Hinata Sou (his grandmother's hotel, which is now an all girls-dormatory). Love Hina is about finding true love, growing up and facing the real world and following your dreams even if they seem unattainable.
Central Character
Urashima Keitaro is a rather typical guy. He is a very clumsy, but sweet, considerate guy who is trying to do what he thinks is right. It's not his fault that he is usually in the wrong place at the wrong time and always gets caught. He feels like a failure most of the time, having failed the Tokyo University entrance exams over and over again, but with some encouragement he can be really hard working. Keitaro is one of thoses characters that I just like. I feel sorry for him when something bad happens to him and cheer for him when things are looking up.
