Family from Hell- Hidden treasure
My family are the family from hell! Hi my name Alice and my family are just plain mad. I have 7 brothers 8 sisters and a mum. I suppose I have a dad as well but he left when David and Sam were born. I was only little then so I don?t remember him all that well.
All together we are a solid group the eldest of us is Ben at 14. Then as follows Kate, Lucy and Jane at 13, Chris and Carl at 11, Robert and Jamie at 10, Claire and Rachel at 9, Sally at 8, myself at 7, Amy at 6, then there is David and Sam at 4.
I know I know there are a lot of multiples in our family but apparently mum was a twin at birth but her twin died she says she making up for her death.
This adventure started out as a normal day but soon turned in to a nightmare.
3 days earlier.
It all started when mum came in from the garden and was in the kitchen when sally and Amy were in there.
"Well" she said, "that?s the little treasures buried"
"What treasures mum" asked Sally
"You will have to wait until spring to find out," she said and then she left them to there own devices. Big mistake!
They ran up the stairs to tell David and Sam.
"Guess what" they shouted.
"We know where the treasure is"
"Where" shouted Sam
"Yes where," asked David
"Well I don?t know if we should tell them do you Amy after all what would we get if we let them have all the treasure"
"We?d share it with you wouldn?t we Sam"
"Oh do we have too"
"Well if you don?t we wont tell you where it is will we" replied Amy
"Can we dig it up though?" asked Sam
"Of cause you can where girls Sam we don?t dig we supervise"
"What?s super vies Sally"
"It means we tell you what to do and you do it okay
"Okay" Replied the twins
First stop was the sandbox to pick up the buckets and spades.
"Why do we need spades Amy?" asked Sam
"To dig with"
"We usually use our hands to do that" said David
"Well not today your not you?re going to use spades"
"Okay" Replied the twins
The second stop was the kitchen to pick up supplies for the long work ahead
Then straight on through the kitchen to the front garden where mum had said the treasure was buried.
"Where we going to start Amy?" the twins asked
"Look for soil that looks newly turned"
"Um Amy how do we know it?s new?"
"It will be a darker brown than the rest. Now go do it"
"Okay" Replied the twins
After the first half an hour all they had come up with was lots of flowers and bulbs. The twins didn?t want to play any more.
"We don?t want to play any more we want to play with our trucks now"
"Fine you were to slow anyway"
Off the boys went to play with their trucks.
"What we going to do now Amy"
"We will get Robert and Jamie to help us there bigger and stronger than David and Sam any way so we should find it sooner"
Off they went to find Robert and Jamie. They found them in the living room watching telly.
"Guess what" said Amy to Robert "We know where the treasure is"
"Where"
"Yes where,"
"Well I don?t know if we should tell them do you Sally after all what would we get if we let them have all the treasure"
"We?d share it with you wouldn?t we Jamie"
"Yes we?d let you have a little I suppose"
"Well that could be fair but you see we would have to do the hard work in telling you what to do while you dig and that?s hard work you know. It takes it out of you to supervise"
"Well I suppose we could give you a little bit more coz you?re doing all the hard work and we don?t mind doing the digging. Do we Rob?"
"No not at all"
"Great come on then"
They all went out to the garden again and as the boys set to work the girls sat on the grass and ate the cookies that they had picked up earlier.
"Are you sure that there is treasure out here Amy because we have been looking for ages now and haven?t found any" said the boys after half an hour
"Of course there is we heard mum say there was"
"Well sorry but our favourite program is about to start and we want to watch it so we got to go c ya"
"Yes c ya"
"Not again what is it with these people can?t they do any thing right"
"No who else can we try?"
"We could try Chris and Carl"
Yes suppose so. Come on then"
They found Chris and Carl in the attic fighting as they usually are. They have a thing with wrestling
"Hey Chris"
"Hey Carl"
"What do you 2 want?"
"Well you see we found some treasure but because we are weak little females we aren?t strong enough to dig it up and we were just thinking who?s the strongest people we know to help us dig it up"
"Ye and we thought of you to first"
"You did wow we would be glad to help you if you think we can. Wouldn?t we Carl"
"Ye sure but we?d want a little bit of the treasure wouldn?t we Chris?"
"Ye we would but only a little bit you know not a lot"
"No about half would do us"
"Well that could be fair but you see we would have to do the hard work in telling you what to do while you dig and that?s hard work you know. It takes it out of you to supervise"
"Okay maybe not half how about 60/40"
"What do you think Sally is that fair?"
"Ye 60/40 it?s a deal"
"Okay then shake hands and that makes it final"
So back to the garden they went.
40 minuets later
"Look its not that we don?t want to help you its just that we have to practice our moves for P.E tomorrow and mum will kill us if we don?t go now sorry guys."
"Ye but its not mum I?m worried about its Mr Ricksure he will kill us after he tortures us in detention first."
"Ye your right see you later okay"
"See ya"
"Well now what do we do that?s everyone"
"Well you know what they say if you want something doing do it your self"
So they started to dig it must not have been more than 10 minuets when mum called us to dinner and Amy and Sally came running in covered with mud from head to tow
"What have you 2 been up too"
"They went looking for the treasure in the garden" Piped up David
"Ye we didn?t find any" Said Sam
"Neither did we" said Rob and Jamie
"They said that they came straight to us" shouted Chris and Carl
"Okay everyone pipe down will you," shouted mum
"Exactly where was this treasure you were looking for"
"In the garden where you told us it was"
Mum went to the door and looked out there was muck every where and the bulbs and grass were also gone.
"The treasure you were looking for were my bulbs and because you decided to dig them up you can put them back neatly along with anyone who was so stupid to help you do it and now you will go wash up and come eat your supper"
The next day we all spent it in the garden some of us watching those who had to replant and some replanting. The moral of this story is well I don?t know make one up.
