| Every year the seniors at the high school that I went to take a class trip to Washington D.C. and New York City. I made this trip in May of 2001. The trip involved four years of fundraising and spending 24 hours straight on a coach bus with twenty people that I haven't always gotten along with very well. We came out of it with a lot of memories and a new understanding of each other. It was a great way to end out High School career on a high note | ||||||||||||||

| It is a 49 year tradition, and hopefuly it will be around for another 49 years. It gives a bunch of country kids a chance to see the big city. We got to ride on the subway, something many people wouldn't even think twice about, but that almost no one I know has done. We saw the White house and climbed the Statue of Liberty. We went to see the Today Show and Al Roker talked to us on national television. We saw a lot of other things too. the trip it self lasted 8 days. |
