MOTHER'S DAY
by kathy
A mother's job is never done
There's always something to do for someone
And like the beauty of a perfect rose
A mother's love just grows and grows
From the moment we bring them into this world
We treasure and love our gifts from the Lord
We laugh and we cry and we nurture them some
But all things are worth it
When they say "I Love you Mom"
Flowers are nice and so is a gift
But a hug and a smile gives my heart a lift
I close my eyes and I can see
Your smiling eyes looking down on me
Mother dear, with your face so fair
I know you're up there in His care
I hope that I have turned out to be
A mother as gentle and caring as thee
And so today in my special way
I'm reaching out to all mothers to say
Have a Blessed and glorious
Mother's Day
