I sit alone here day after day
Hoping that someone will find the way
To bring the smile back to my lips
To bring the dance back to my hips
I have so much inside to give
I want to have fun, I want to live
I want to feel the things I had
I want to laugh and make someone glad
That they took the time to find the way
Into my heart where they will stay.
I sit alone here day after day
With so many things I need to say
I look around and what do I see
I'm not alone - God is smiling at me
