GOD GAVE ME

God gave me a mind to think good thoughts
God gave me a voice to speak those thoughts
God gave me eyes so I may see
The goodness and love surrounding me
God gave me a heart so I may feel
The joy of love
And hearbreak when love's not real
God gave me more than I can say
But the greatest gift he sent my way
A family that loves me come what may
And the beautiful friends I see everyday
For family and friends both far and near
I thank God each night with a joyful tear
