This is a drawing I did of Jerry Cantrell: rock guitar player. The inspiration to draw this piece came to me via his solo album, Boggy Depot. For those who don't know who he is, he was the guitar player/song writer for the Seattle rock band, Alice In Chains. As a side note, he was also a personal friend of mine for the three years preceeding his stardom. I found him to be a very interesting, talented young man: so to me, it was a given he would make it as a musician. I am so very proud of him, to say the least. God bless him in his vast travels, and may our paths cross again, one day. |
