Game Terms In-Game Usage
HP Hit Points: the damage you can take before you die
STR Strength: the stat that determines the damage done with some weapons and skills
AGL Agility: the stat that determines the order you attack in battle and how often you hit or miss with physical weapons; also determines the damage done with some weapons and skills
DEF Defense: the stat that blocks some damage from physical, i.e. non-magical, attacks
MANA Mana: the stat that determines the damage or the effect done with some weapons and skills
Magi 77(?) Magical orbs that grant the user special powers
Gold Currency in FFL2
Shop A place to buy weapons, armors, and items by spending gold
Inn A place to recover your health and skills by spending gold
Cafe Where you can learn the latest news and rumors from the locals and play the jukebox
Human A race that can become strong in all areas
Mutant Magical beings that can learn special skills
Robot Mechanical beings that become strong with equipment, but vulnerable to magical damage
Monster Beasts that evolve by eating meat
Weapon Lore Brief Historical, Mythical, or Scientific Description
Hammer A tool that moves or deforms a target, such as nails or a person
Long sword Single-handed sword that is effective against armor
Axe Tool with wooden handle and metal blade meant for chopping wood and flesh
Battle sword Two-handed sword able to deal great damage
Katana Japanese longsword , usually 2-handed, curved, with cutting edge up
Gold sword Sword made of gold
Coral sword Sword made of coral (more..)
Ogre axe Dreaded axe ...
Dragon sword Dragon slayer
Sun sword Draws power from the sun to banish undead
Flame sword Sword with fiery blade
Ice sword Sword with icy blade
