Above are our three embryo's that are each three days old and 8 cells each.  The one on the right appears to be fragmented but actually those are just bubbles.  This picture was taken the day that we transfered these "beans" "Winkin, Blinkin and Nod" as I came to call them into our wonderful Gestational Surrogate/ Carrier.  We then waited out what is called the 2WW (two week wait) until our Beta test was performed to check if a pregnancy resulted.  Amazingly, our son Mitchell is one of those little beans!

We had a virtually problem free journey with surrogacy and truly grew to love our Gestational Surrogate/ Carrier and her family (well, all but, maybe her DH, just kidding!)  Unfortunately our journey was not without problems but, fortunately the problems that did arise were not because of any of our or our Gestational Surrogates/ Carriers actions.  The hospital that "we" delivered at (a very large HMO) truly screwed up with our sons delivery and could have potentially ruined the  relationship we had all built, thankfully none of us allowed this to happen.
