| My Dad and his partner Hannah Dad is 70 years old and comes from Holland. We migrated here in 1956 when I was only a baby. His partner Hannah is also Dutch. They have been together for 16 years now. Dad is retired after working most of his life as a boilermaker. Hannah has had hip problems for a few years now after falling over and breaking it. She has had a recent operation to try and ease the pain she was in. She also suffers from diabetes and Parkinson Disease. Despite all of her problems she still wears a smile most times and has a happy outlook on life. |

| My older brother John. He is 51 and is now retired. He was in the Australian Army for many years and now is travelling around Australia in his dream come true, a bus that he has converted to a home. His home base is in Geelong, Victoria, where he has two children and I think four grandkids. I don't have a lot of contact with him or his family. He is divorced. |

| Older sister Lis, she is the one that turned 50 in May and it was an occasion for my family to all be in the one place in 17 years. Lis is currently in the Queensland Police Force and has been for 10 years. She was also in the Australian Army for quite a few years. She has travelled extensively and is about to embark on a hiking holiday in Canada. She is hoping to retire from the police force and also plans on touring our country in a mobile home. | Little sister Jo and her husband Kevin. They have been together for what seems forever and have been married since 1989, they have four kids so that has kept them busy over the years but the kids are getting older now. They live in Traralgon, Victoria and are avid members of the volunteer fire brigade. As is the other members of the family that are old enough. Their second daughter Cassandra is about to join the Australian Army as well. |
