Profile of The doctor
He is an Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH) who has to become the chief medical officer on Voyager when the original physician dies during the transport to the Delta quadrant. He is interested in improving his subroutines, singing opera and photography. He has developed into a complex individual during the years in the Delta quadrant. He gives Seven of Nine Social lessons to help her improve herself as an individual. He is secretly in love with her but has never pursued a romantically relationship. They are, however, close friends.
