This volume
contains some of the most beautiful, the funnest, and all-around greatest
MLP websites I've found. There the ones I spend the most time using or just
enjoy surfing around in. If you do nothing else, take the time to check these
out!

Friends' Sites! ~*~
Like
the banner says, The Pony Playhouse has a little bit of everything. This award-winning
site should not be missed. Highlights include the often updated Pony Talk
newsletter, a great gift shop full of Tapestry's craft creations, actually
fun games, and A++ free pics.
Lady
Moondancer's New Dream reads like a fan fic. Her site is very easy to navigate
and has a wealth of interesting features, such as the Prettiest Pony Poll,
the Pony Census, Crazy Jack's extensive collection of free pics, L.I.N.K (Liberators
of Images Needlessly Kidnapped), Bouquet's Accessory ID, and lists of ponies
with hair that fades and the official spellings of My Little Pony names.
NorthStar's
Daydream (a.k.a. The Dream Cloud) was one of the first sites I really explored.
Tropical Breeze's Quotes is probably my favorite section. Wig Wam's Little
Thoughts is a close second, however - it's a neat twist on the standard "opinions"
page. Be sure to visit Kingsley's Board, which is home to the biggest MLP
message board community I've found. Oh yes, and MLPs On The Brain will hit
way too close to home for many of us...
Lady
Minty's Clover Flower Fields reminds me a bit of Moondancer's Dream, but it's
visually smaller. Lady Minty is a big supporter of the new line of MLPs, and
her Support Pony Acceptance and T.A.C.T. campaigns prove it. The Pony Dreams
board is a great place to talk about all those crazy MLP dreams you've been
having. Don't miss the Fakie Tour and the adventures of Little Hyper and Little
Spazz!
Okay
- it's been said that Dava's Ribbons and Rainbows is a visual flop (I didn't
say it!!!). I say, so what? Dava has some of the more original MLP content
on the 'Net. Her Unusual Facts and Statistics are just that, and you won't
believe some of the observations she's made! Her Pony Horror Stories are quite
entertaining, and look out for the forthcoming Shrine to Big Momma Peachy.
If
you are looking for a site with a lot of graphics to offer, Flutter Valley
will do nicely. The neatest feature is the downloadable MLP ICQ skins - just
make sure you're using the Plus version of ICQ. (ICQ
is an internet instant messaging service.) Flutter Valley also offers some
neat desktop wallpaper as well.
The
Flipside is a little bit darker than most MLP sites, but don't let that discorage
you from visiting it and taking the time to read every word written there!
The Flipside has a great article about My Little Ponies that appeared in a
collectables magazine scanned in for you to read. It's also home to E.A.E.
(Equality Amongst Equines). Beware - there are some dead links and some stuff
that just doesn't go anywhere, but the art and storyline will get you past
all that.
Although
Chanth (a.k.a. Summerwing) has officially retired from the MLP community,
the Skylands remain. Chanth began
P.A.I.N. (Ponies Against Image Nabbing), which is now hosted on Lady Moondancer's
site. The Art of Making Pictures is a great how-to section that will help
anyone who wants to make a MLP website. I also highly recommend the desktop
theme - I use it myself!
Quacker
County gets the big bad cloud because of some profanity and adult themes.
You gotta love EDP (Evil Dead Pony) and her gang, though. The Church of the
Evil Dead is quite humorous, and the Quacker County Graffiti Board should
not be missed.
Okay...
how could you POSSIBLY ignore a pony site that's run by a 37-year-old MAN?!?
Yes, it does sound creepy at first, but this guy (otherunicorn is his name)
knows his stuff. Club Ilinga is super cool with great pictures and funny stories.
Check out his customs (!!!), artwork and games.
Here's
another really fun site! Formerly known as K's Ponyland, Ponyland Castle can
only be truly appreciated if you download Flash Player - don't worry, there's
a link to the free download at K's site. The "Pony Fun" section
has some really neat games and the site is just great in general.
Starlight
Valley is a beautiful site - just look at that graphic! Her Art Gallery has
photos of lots of custom ponies that people have made, and her Powers section
is really original.
After
quite the hiatus, The 50 Most Beautiful Ponies is back to being updated! Get
over there and take part - it's a really great site... lots of great graphics
and photos, not to mention supurb dialogue.
Itchin' for a
place to show off your fan art? Want to see some really great fan art? The Artists
of Ponyland is just the place - it's very clear and easy to navigate and just
lets the pony art shine through!
