| As I sit here alone and scared, Hoping you knew how much I cared. My heart beats hard against my chest, Wanting you here to ease my pain. Waiting for the day I see your face, And feel your warm embrace. My life around me fell apart, All around me cold, cold hearts. No one here to hold me as I cry, Wishing I could curl up and die. My heart feels so empty with you gone, I know you suffered way to long. The Father took you home to heal, Pain and longing we are left to feel. Rest well knowing you did your part, As you put love in all our hearts. We will meet again one day, I just hope I know what to say. In my heart I hold you dear, and forever feel you near. Watch over us left behind, Till once again we are by your side. By: Katrina Baskin In Memory of Raymond B. Hollingsworth |
