*Aislinn Arrives at Dy's shop and heads upstairs*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *is sitting comfortably on the bed, his legs swinging off the edge*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *looks almost disappointed as he sees her*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Not wearing the armor?

Aislinn Ua Ruairc: *lofts a brow and pulls a bag out of her pack and tosses it over*
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: I did..
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Good hunt?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Didn't really make it to the hunting part..
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Really? He swept you off your feet that quickly?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: I suppose so..
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: *contains her amusement knowing he would take it that way*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *blinks at her stupidly, fully intending that one to be a joke*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Wha.. what?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Oh.. what's the matter..
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *coughs lightly and smooths out his coat*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Anyhow.. As long as you enjoyed yourself.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Oh.. very much so..
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: *continues to lie through her teeth though manages to pull it off fairly well*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *his jaw almost drops before he catches himself, too caught up to realize she might be teasing him*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Wha.. Where did you two.. go.. then?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Oh.. made it to near the entrance to Arjat...
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Just didn't get past the wall..
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: *is genuinely enjoying the reaction she is getting from him*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *furrows his brows*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Because of the creatures there... right?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: There are no creatures there..
Aislinn Ua Ruairc: Just empty grassland..
Kieran Dwin'mitore: *his jaw actually drops this time, and he looks quite offended*
Kieran Dwin'mitore: Well! I see you did have a pleasant time
Kieran Dwin'mitore harrumphs and stands up, smoothing out his coat and looks as if he's quite ready to leave.*
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirked inwardly as she watched him, noting he was about to leave.. "Awww... leaving so soon? I was just getting started.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore shoots her a dark look, "I've just got to handle a few errands is all. Your sister is zipping around town, you may want to find her."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shakes her head slowly, "Running errands is the excuse you used not too long ago... I don't honestly believe that is the case again.. especially since you've been sitting here looking like you were waiting for me..
Kieran Dwin'mitore harrumps and starts for the stairs, even though she's standing between him and the flight, "I could have been waiting for your sister, you know.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirks a bit at that, "Aye.. I'm sure you were.. in my bedroom.." she doesn't appear as if she has any intention to move, going so far as to ensure to move in the path of his step
Kieran Dwin'mitore continues walking towards her, but suddenly stops, an array of emotions crossing his face, first frustration, then a dumbfounded look, followed by amusement. "You really got me... Blast, you got me good.." He eyes her for a moment more. "...Right?"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shrugs slightly, retaining the straight face as if she were actually serious, "I don't know.. what do you think?"
Kieran Dwin'mitore 's face sinks again, then he furrows his eyebrows at her accusingly, though his eyes betray his true worry. "I think you're lying, Fox"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nodded slowly as gaze studies his own intently, shifting focus between each to determine what it was he was feeling at that moment. She remained in silence for quite some time, lingering in the suspense before responding, "Then you would be thinking correctly.." cheshire grin slowly forming a moment later.
Kieran Dwin'mitore bursts out laughing and puts his arms about her waist. "I should throw you down the stairs for that, fox." He shakes his head again, still laughing "Better than I could ever pull that"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc parted her arms from there folded position to lower at her sides as he advanced and despite the fact that the drop off for the steps was mere inches behind her she didn't seem at all phased.. did she actually trust that he wouldn't do something like that? "Guin isn't a 'suitor' anymore as you referred to him as.. merely a good friend.. Figured you might be interested to know, considering the reaction you just gave me.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore tilts his head to the side with a look of mock curiousity, "What reaction are you talking about? I was perfectly fine with it. But besides that, why is he not a suitor anymore? Did I scare him off?"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirks, "If you were perfectly fine with it.. you wouldn't ask for more details.. and since you are still here.. it is obvious that you don't have errands."
Kieran Dwin'mitore chuckles softly, pulling her closer, "4You didn't answer my question, Fox."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc 's eyes closed as she inhaled slightly deeply, exhaling slowly to keep her nerves from running away with her again.. mild aching starting to erupt within her gut and she looked away, obviously growing increasingly nervous as he pulled her closer yet she didn't fight his efforts as she normally would have.. "No.. you didn't scare him off.. I stopped it before it went anywhere.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore 's eyes flicker curiously once again, "Why is that? I thought you liked him."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nods a bit, slowly.. "I do.. but as a friend... I don't think I could put up with his pristinely good manners as anything more than that.. that and he's rather set in his goals and won't sway from them.. simply not compatible.. in the sense of any sort of future.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore sighs at length. "A shame, that. He was quite nice." He smiles once again and releases her, moving back to the bed and plopping down on it after making sure the cat isn't napping there.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc lifts her gaze to look to him again as he moves away, relaxing a bit.. "Yes I'm sure you're utterly disappointed..."
Kieran Dwin'mitore flashes her a cheery grin, "I'll never know how you figure me out so. How did you know I'd be down about it?" He pats a spot next to him lightly, beckoning her to sit.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shrugged slightly before moving to sit where indicated, "I didn't.. I didn't lie about not making it to the hunt.. you just took it the wrong way and I rolled with it.. moreso for my own curiousity to know if it would really bother you or not.. since it had been apparent that you wouldn't tell me directly.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore makes a face at her, leaning back so that he is resting on the headboard. "The way you said it made it sound as if you made a stop. Or two. I should have known better, really." He sighs and runs his fingers through his hair to smooth it out.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nodded slowly with a shrug, "If you say so.. I can't deny that I was amused watching you and your reaction.. whether you want to admit it or not.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore grins and reaches down below him to pull a wine bottle and two glasses out from where he had hidden them under the bed. "I did admit that you got me, didn't I? So I was a touch bothered, it's not a crime." Without really pausing, he undoes the already-popped cork with a thumb and pours enough wine into the two glasses to fill them a quarter of the way.
Kieran Dwin'mitore then extends the hand with the two wine glasses forward to offer her one with a small smile, setting the bottle down on the wooden floorboards again with a soft thump.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc lofts a brow, watching as he pulled the bottle and glass. A small smile shows as she looked between him and the glass, "What else you got hidden under my bed?" she snickers softly and nodded, "You did.. and no, it's not a crime.. and I liked it.." she swirls the fluid around in the glass a bit, waiting..
Kieran Dwin'mitore shrugs and swirls his own glass, "To the fox." lifting it up a bit to catch its scent before taking a small sip. He answers her question after another pause. "Could be a few things. Though I rather like what is -on- your bed much better." He answers, sizing her up as he always does. Raising the glass momentarily to observe the liquid, he shoots her a wink just over the rim
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirks at his 'toast' and just continued to look at him without words though she too would inspect the scent of the drink, lifting it to do so not that she really needed to.. as he spoke again she would look to the bed and pointedly at the blankets and sheets feigning obliviousness.. "Ya can't have em.." blinked once and looked away and to her drink before a sip was taken.
Kieran Dwin'mitore furrows his brows and tilts his head to the side asking as eloquently as he can muster, "Eh?" After a brief moment, he realizes what she means and breaks out laughing. "It's just they are so appealing. Are you sure I couldn't convince you to part with them? We could have another competition for them."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc snickers a bit though remained focused in the drink, "But but... Dy made them specially for me... I think.. besides.. you haven't even used the last request from winning the last one.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore grins over the glass and finishes it off quickly, turning slightly to set it on the floor. He shifts over a bit to lay down next to the wall, with his back propped up by a pillow and the headboard. "I suppose you can keep them then.. And about that request, I honestly have no idea what I could ask of you that you wouldn't do for me anyway." Kieran leans back with a chuckle, closing his eyes slowly as he enjoys the touch of warmth given to him by the wine.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc offered a look of suprise with jaws slightly parted even if he didn't see it. Tilting back the drink she finishes it off and places the glass next to his, turning slightly to look to him though remained in place at the edge of the foot of the bed, "What makes you so sure..."
Kieran Dwin'mitore grins and opens one of his eyelids, "Nothing, but I'm sure I could talk you into it." He pauses as he sizes her up with his one eye again. "Or out of it, if necessary." With another chuckle, he closes his eye again.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc bit onto her lower lip and looked away with rather large sheepish grin and cheeks flushed red.. he was right in that he probably could in both instances and silently mused to herself on the situation. She had rather high standards and very picky with the personality types of those she would consider having any form of relation with and while most only possessed one trait or the other, he had both and she could actually think of nothing to say in return.
Kieran Dwin'mitore noted the silence quietly, he smiles to himself and leans forward to remove his coat and throw it somewhere, not really caring where it lands. It's getting a bit warm, he thinks, maybe too much wine too quickly.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc inhaled deeply, nerves perking again though it was questionable as to why. Not wanting to let them get the better of her she reaches down for the glass again and the bottle filling it to halfway before lowering the bottle again hoping that the drink would shield her atleast somewhat against her own weaknesses.
Kieran Dwin'mitore opens both eyes and sighs contently, he pulls a hairtie out from one of his pockets and puts his hair back to keep it out of his face. After doing so, he looks to her with a smile, not saying anything.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc didn't bother looking to him as he moved, focused upon the drink she now possessed. She could however almost feel the pressure of his gaze as he looks upon her and she straightens her back to roll her shoulders before tipping the drink up to start and finish off all in the same moment.. she didn't drink nearly often enough to have much of any tolerance so what was had should do just fine considering the speed at which it was drank. Sitting in place in the uneasy silence she just waits as she feels the warmth of the liquid as it moves downward.
Kieran Dwin'mitore leans forward to take the glass away and set it down on the floor again, "Careful now, I don't want you falling down drunk. You won't have any sharp retorts if you are."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirked slightly at the notion that he felt he had to 'cut her off' as head turned to look to him after watching the glass get put down since she hadn't intended on drinking anymore anyway.. "Tis rather amusing to have to 'cut off' someone that doesn't typically drink.." she snickered softly..
Kieran Dwin'mitore grins, "It's really that I don't want to compete with the glass for attention, now you have to look at me." Grinning all the same he fluffs his pillow and lays down all the way, relaxing.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirked and nodded, "Well then you best do something more entertaining than lay there because the glass is looking more interesting..." surely it wasn't true but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of being a statue for her to stare at even if she could have.
Kieran Dwin'mitore laughs, "I don't think you could handle entertainment, Fox. But how about a game to keep us amused? Guessing traits of each other, perhaps? To see how well we know the other? The one with the most after four wins a request."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc laughs a bit, "Don't think I could handle entertainment? Oh please.. I'd say try me but you seem pretty intent on acquiring another 'useless' request.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore arches a brow, "Useless eh? Well then, Fox, my request is for -you- to entertain -me- this evening." He looks quite satisfied with his request, not really expecting her to follow through as any other person would, so he just holds on for the ride.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc grinned a bit at the request which was shortly followed with amused laughter, "And how, praytell, would you have me entertain you?"
Kieran Dwin'mitore closes his eyes and places his hands behind his head, "You're the one that knows everything, Fox. Do something that would amuse me."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shook her head slowly, "Keen sense of awareness, strong arm and good shot do not incline to knowing everything.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore laughs and opens his eyes again, "And you accuse me of tooting my horn! I don't know, make me laugh, do something I wouldn't expect.. Wait.. no.. I never can predict you.. Scratch that. You know what I mean though"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirks and tilts her head slightly with singular brow lifted, "Do I?" there was a lot of things she would think of doing to him whether for good or ill though wouldn't give in to his 'ego' of presuming she would.. on the other had his confidence in such an instance would be proven wrong in the fact she has never had any close contact with anyone before and so cringed at the thought no matter how much she knew she wanted to.. the weakness of chickening out when it came to such things. Still she would play the game as if she knew what she was doing; she had enough experience with that.
Kieran Dwin'mitore looks to the edge of the bed and briefly considers having another glass, but discounts the thought. "You're horrible, you know. How about a massage? As forgiveness for all those bruises you gave me."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nodded slowly, "See? How hard was that?" she snickered a bit and did get up to stand and turned towards him waiting for him to reposition himself in such a way to accomodate the request.
Kieran Dwin'mitore makes a face at her and rolls over, "Did you want me to disrobe for this or can you stand me with my clothes on?"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc grinned , genuinely amused, "I can stand you with your clothes on.."leaned forward to crawl onto the bed towards him then lifting up to rest one leg at his opposite side to straddle over him and sit upon his backside.. "Tis not like I'd see much back here anyway.." she snickered softly as she leaned forward to press her hands down against his back and pausing there a moment for a response.
Kieran Dwin'mitore tilts his head to the side so he can see her from the corner of his eyes. "It's what you'd see before I lay down and when I get up that's the important part. My eyes are positively endless when I'm disrobed." He grins a bit and relaxes his back noticeably.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nodded a bit, "You sure do pay a lot of attention to your clothes for one who talks of not being in them a lot; added with multiple layers.." hands slid upwards along his back to his shoulders to grip onto with firm grasp, pressure placed with palms and tips of fingers in a circular manner and slow in motion.
Kieran Dwin'mitore answers quietly, almost as if he were on the verge of sleep, "A quirk I suppose. I wouldn't have caught your eye unless I happened to be wearing colors that you absolutely hated - which hurts, I like the color gold." His arms, formerly at his sides, move to tickle her calves and ankles lightly as his eyes drift slowly closed.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc didn't seem to mind that his eyes were closing and thigh high boots made it fairly hard to have her calves and ankles tickled to the point she wouldn't even notice he was touching her there.. she nodded a bit even if it went unnoticed, "Yes, I do hate the color gold which caught my eye.. but apparently you wear it well enough that I looked again after that.. though it was really the green that I saw you in first, if you don't remember.." she smiled faintly unbothered if he would fall asleep. Hands moved from shoulders and down along his back with pressured circular motion, tip of fingers pressing against him as well to search for any knots that may have been present.
Kieran Dwin'mitore 's open slightly as he wonders why her legs are so.. rough? ..realizing she didn't remove her boots before she got onto the bed, he gets ready to scold her, but then realizes his are still on as well. With a sleepy, sheepish smile he asks, "I thought the leathers were brown...or gold and brown.. Didn't you complain about it just a bit ago?"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shrugged slightly as hands moved to lower back, putting sudden pressure to the spine to crack it if it was needed before moving outward to the sides and back up slowly, "They are.. now.. but when I first caught you hiding in the corner.. the first day I met you, they were green."
Kieran Dwin'mitore grunts softly as his back cracks loudly, "Really? I can't for the life of me recall that"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shrugs slightly, "Tis not entirely important.." though it did reveal that she had been paying attention to him even then whether she would let him know it or not.. hands continued motion over his back as tips of fingers seek out any knots, thumbs moving to press nearly painfully against them to work them out.. out of slight amusement her hands would move to where the bruises were at his sides to press against them.. by now they should have been healed enough not to cause pain however as they say 'It's the thought that counts'
Kieran Dwin'mitore relaxes again and after a moment makes an attempt to lift himself up and roll over without disturbing her position too much, or at all if possible. "Good eyes, I suppose" he comments with a sleepy little grin, looking up at her with his eyes half-open.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc lifted up off of him a bit so he would have the leeway needed to flip over before lowering down again.. she was a bit unnerved by the new positioning but by now the wine had done its job well enough for her not to care so much as she normally would. Eyes lowered to fix upon his still appearing rather wide awake even if her body wasn't so. "You can go to sleep if you're tired you know.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore grins up at her and blinks a few times to bring himself back into a waking state, "Never tired of you, Fox. You know we need to figure out a way for me to get another request, that was wondrous."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirked a bit and shook her head, "Wasn't inclining of being tired of me.. that would mean you'd leave to go to sleep.. though since you've already managed to invade my tiny space I figured you would do it again if you could bare the pain of it.." yes, tiny space of a queen sized bed.
Kieran Dwin'mitore suddenly grins at her, "We could always stay at my place, you know. I wouldn't mind sharing my tiny bed with you, it will give me an excuse to be closer. Not that I really need one, but it's nice to have one." Another grin ensues, he seems more awake now that he's talking again.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc canted her head, "Oh Mr. 'I don't have a home' suddenly has one.. the irony..." she rolled her eyes a bit with a shake of her head and without hesitation or care of 'invasion of personal space' she leaned forward again to let hands rest down against his chest and resumed what she had been doing to his back though without as much pressure.
Kieran Dwin'mitore points out of the window next to her bed - that he never seemed to notice before - at a new shop built just to the south of them. With a grin, he continues, "It's not much of a home, but it will do for now. What do you think?
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shifted slightly to peer out the window and smirked, "So what are you planning to sell at that shop of yours?" she looked back to him after speaking with a faint smile evident.
Kieran Dwin'mitore shrugs once, "I'm not sure yet.. I don't care much, it was the spot that mattered. Paintings of myself in the nude? ...I don't want to kill your business here, people would spend all of their money at my shop." He chuckles, puts his hands on her hips and replies more seriously, "Potions and the like, most probably"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc snickers, "Well don't think I'd be investing in any paintings since I have the real thing right here.." she grins and pats his chest, "Ahhh so you do actually intend to sell something.. I have a contract to get a home built but don't know where to put it or if I even want to. I've had the contract for months now.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore looks down at himself, swearing that he hadn't drunk enough to be naked without realizing it. After examining himself, he seems content. "I plan on buying a real home at some point as well, but the shop should help me support my spending habits." He pauses for a second and then beckons her closer with a finger, smiling slightly. "Come here."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc snickered softly at his self examination to remember that he wasn't nude though she didn't seem to care.. it isn't entirely on the outside what counts as far as she is concerned.. brow lifted at the mentioning of spending habits though didn't ask and actually responded to his 'command' by leaning forward, hands moved from his chest to press to the bed at his sides.. focus of gaze shifted from one eye to the other.
Kieran Dwin'mitore simply lifts himself up to kiss her. "Sorry, I'd been wanting to for a while. Where have you considered putting the house? It can't be too far"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc returned the kiss having pretty much expected it and she grinned slightly as he pulled back to speak.. "I haven't yet.. and why not too far?"
Kieran Dwin'mitore shrugs a bit and closes his eyes, "I'd like to keep you close to here. To me. I mean, I can compete with the advances of a polite man, but what if a grizzly sets his eyes on you? I'd be doomed."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc chuckled softly and sat up again, arm reaching out to him to lightly caress his cheek with a slow shake of her head, "I suppose during the various occurances of plotting and planning against me that you and Dy have done that she failed to tell you what I am..
Kieran Dwin'mitore looks piqued as he opens his eyes, his eyes twinkling a bit as they usually do when he is curious. "Oh?"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nods slowly, "I am the only one of my family that still is however always was and always will be of the Sora'nau.. I'm also the figurehead of one of the most known camps of this area.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore opens his mouth in a silent 'Ahh,' "That explains the popularity around here, then.. I knew your family was of Sora'nau descent, but not this." He smiles suddenly, looking pleased. "I think we've taken a step, my dear.. You just told me something about yourself without incessent pestering from me."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc shrugs slightly, "I suppose you've earned it.." and leaves it at that though responds to the popularity, "And no.. the popularity is because I am one of two teachers of the Pard way.. far too many students and way too few of us.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore responds quietly, his eyes slowly shutting again, "That would explain it as well.. You're just an all-around kind of gal, aren't you? Who was it that said luck didn't exist? He's a liar."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc canted her head, curiousity now befalling her as she looked upon him, "What makes him a liar? It takes a strong man to keep hold on me there is no doubt in that.. city folk can't handle the wild.. in most instances.. well actually all instances up until most recently.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore opens one eye and arches the same eyebrow. "I just think I'm quite lucky is all. And I'm not quite sure I follow what you mean about until recently.."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc smirked slightly, "Well you're the first that hasn't made efforts to walk the other way upon learning of my Sora ways.. coupled with the path of the Pard.. that is why Guin is merely just a friend.. we had the same ideals with totally different concepts of application.. and neither one of us will sway from that.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore looks around at length, and then at her positioning. "I don't think I could get away if I tried, Fox. I'm more worried about you running from me if you decide city life isn't what you want."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nods slowly, "That is the problem.. I never decided it was what I wanted.. because it's not and never will be.. once the wagons get repaired and built I don't intend to stay here.. and that is why Dy is so hard pressed to set me up with someone.."
Kieran Dwin'mitore smiles, "That makes a lot of sense actually. I suppose you'll just have to deal with me following you about, then."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc 's features blanked for a moment as she looked to him before shifting to one of confusion and then rather pleased, "I suppose then that she chose wrong.." she smiled a bit, gaze intent to study his features to see if anything could be determined.
Kieran Dwin'mitore shrugs and squeezes her midsection lightly, wondering in the back of his mind whether she is confused or pleased - he's never able to tell, "Don't get me wrong, I like it here, but I was trained out there too. Nothing wrong with being flexible."
Aislinn Ua Ruairc nods slowly, "I couldn't agree more.. unfortunately I lack in that department.. I've only 'lived' amongst the city for barely a year even though most of it was spent out in the nearby woodland area.. I can't imagine staying here for good.
Kieran Dwin'mitore nods in agreement, his eyes closing as he drifts off to sleep again. "Mmhmm"
Aislinn Ua Ruairc watched as his eyes closed again and she smiled faintly, leaning down to kiss him, murmuring softly in barely a whisper, "You've no idea how long I've waited to hear another say they would join me when I left... I do believe you've made my night.." silencing then to move from her seatedd position atop of him to lowerdown to lay beside him still partially with leg and arm draped over him..
Kieran Dwin'mitore half-smiling in his sleep, he puts his arm about her waist and falls asleep quickly, staying awake only long enough to consider how bad the damage might be in the morning.
Aislinn Ua Ruairc suprisingly would bring no harm upon him in the night as she was actually welcoming of his presence this time around.
