Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks perplexed hearing that* Kaede Hitori: *steps back off the platform, obviously toying with him as she moves away from the light and into* Kaede Hitori: *the darkness* Hikaru Mitsuharu: WAIT Hikaru Mitsuharu: how do you know my name? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves closer to her* Kaede Hitori: I know a lot about you Hikaru Mitsuharu: I suggest you tell me now, or we are going to have a problem Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves in closer to her, almost appearing to not move his feet as he does so* Kaede Hitori: Always looking to solve your problems by killing them.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: but if you dont tell me i guess we will find out just how capable you are *She slips into hiding* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks for her, as he processes her statement, a bit confussed by it* Kaede Hitori: Fighting you is not on my agenda of things to do *Spoken as she walks behind him off towards her house* Hikaru Mitsuharu: then perhaps you should stop speaking in riddles and tell me what i asked you Hikaru Mitsuharu: I dont play games... not at all Kaede Hitori: Oh I'm well aware.. but I enjoy them.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: if you have something to tell me, tell me. or stay away from me Hikaru Mitsuharu: *turns and fades into the night, still taken aback at her comments* *She goes into her house and waits to see if he followed* *Since nothing was heard after a few moments, she leaves her house to go to his* Kaede Hitori: *creeps up to the outside of the house and crouches down to listen* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *remains knelt down infront of the chest for a moment* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *trying to figure out how she knew his name* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *pulls out some clothes after a moment, deciding to go find out what she was* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *talking about* Kaede Hitori: *listens to all the fussing and moving around of stuff inside and grins a bit* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *places his armor in his pack, making sure to leave his weapons in their place* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *closes the chest quietly, rising to stand slowly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *turns and starts for the door, but stops looking over at the icon of the Goddess* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *begins speaking silently, not quiet loud enough for her to hear though maybe a few small parts* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *from what little she can hear, it appears he is asking for her guidance in the matter* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *goes silent after a few moments, and remains that way for a time* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *walks quietly and without a sound to the door, opening it slowly and closing it* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *again as he slips out* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *stands there a moment, trying to clear his thoughts and steady his emotions* Kaede Hitori: *slinks off back home* *He arrives outside her place* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *walks up slowly, still trying to calm himself* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *as he is still most angered that the woman would not speak of how she knew of him* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *bangs the back of his hand against the door once.* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *stands off to the side* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks seeing no one there, yet steps inside* Hikaru Mitsuharu: so, are we still going to play games? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *asks knowing she is here as he can sense her presence in the room* Kaede Hitori: *grins over to him at her left and shrugs* Kaede Hitori: Why not Hikaru Mitsuharu: *lets out a breath as he breaths in another, calming himself* Hikaru Mitsuharu: because I told you, I do not play games. Kaede Hitori: *lowers down to sit in a 'lotus' poise, sai rested at her sides* Hikaru Mitsuharu: and right now you are playing a most risky one Hikaru Mitsuharu: If you know my name, then im am also sure you know of my reputation Hikaru Mitsuharu: and that i am not one to be triffled with Kaede Hitori: You might be aware of mine as well Hikaru Mitsuharu: would i now? Kaede Hitori: *grins a bit as she pulls from her pack a few swan origami figures and sets them at her sides* Hikaru Mitsuharu: well, if thats the case, why dont you enlighten me Hikaru Mitsuharu: *watches her movements closely, as he reaches up to remove his Kasa* Kaede Hitori: *opens a small light weight chest in her pack and a blood red rose is pulled forth to smell* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *holds it down to his side, letting it conceal the many daggers strapped to the* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *side of the Obi* Kaede Hitori: *turns the origami figures to face towards the wall behind her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *watches her closely as she sets the swans figures off to the side, and removes* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *the rose* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *arches a brow as he notices it* Kaede Hitori: Perhaps the name Shukiku rings a bell to anta.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks slightly after a moment, finally noticing one of his own kind* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods once* Hikaru Mitsuharu: I have heard it a few times Kaede Hitori: So.. perhaps we are on a bit more even ground.. now that you know who I am, and I you Kaede Hitori: *grins a bit still having not revealed who she really is* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *watches her movements as he studies her closely* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *doesnt reply, other then a nod* Kaede Hitori: That, however is not why I've been watching you.. Kaede Hitori: Surely one who admires another would be because they are superior in skill.. such is not the case Kaede Hitori: here.. for we are both the same.. in many respects.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *drops the Kasa to the floor as he crosses his arms and leans back against the wall* Kaede Hitori: Though if I knew what you have become from what I saw.. I never would have believed it possible Hikaru Mitsuharu: *listens quietly for a moment as he continues to study her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: and just what might that be? Kaede Hitori: *remains seated in what would be considered a meditative state as she speaks and listens* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *finally decides to play along a bit* Kaede Hitori: The Black Koi ofcourse.. twenty years ago however.. such a thing would have been an obsurd thought Hikaru Mitsuharu: *gives her a stern look, knowing she would have known his alias, but is still* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *trying to figure out how she knew his real name* Hikaru Mitsuharu: twenty years you say ? Kaede Hitori: Certainly.. you were not on this path twenty years ago as I was.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: many things have happened in the past twenty years, perhaps you would feel Hikaru Mitsuharu: inclined to enlighten me? Hikaru Mitsuharu: it is obvious that you seem to know me from the past..... Kaede Hitori: Perhaps.. though it's much more entertaining watching you squirm with frustration Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinks on that a moment, not likeing the idea since he has made many enemies* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *but cant possibly think of one from that long ago* Hikaru Mitsuharu: is it now? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *his expression changes in an instant from curiosity to anger as he leans to* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *pick up his Kasa from the floor* Kaede Hitori: Of all places.. this would certainly be the last place I'd expect to find you.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: as I said, I dont have time for games Hikaru Mitsuharu: *turns for the door and begins to walk out* Kaede Hitori: You have plenty of time.. Kaede Hitori: The curiousity will kill you Kaede Hitori: Who am I... really.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *ignors it and continues, making sure to let her be the one to end the game* Kaede Hitori: *chuckles* Kaede Hitori: And here I thought he was a ruthless killer.. Kaede Hitori: *shakes her head as she muses to herself audibly* Kaede Hitori: *gets up to search around in her bag, back to the door as tiny blade hilts were placed into specially* Kaede Hitori: *made slots in the heel of her boots* Kaede Hitori: *sifts around for something to change into* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *listens quietly, without making a sound* Kaede Hitori: *talks quietly to herself though not so much so that it is unheard* Kaede Hitori: *rambles on various things that could or might be insulting to him if he were listening.. not* Kaede Hitori: *immensely so, knowing well the borderline of 'do not cross this'* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *sneers as he catches small parts of her ramblings, only making him grow more* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *enraged* Kaede Hitori: *peels off layers of clothing after finding something to wear to get dressed again in something less* Kaede Hitori: *constrictive* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *his mind begins to form a sinister plan and he decides to set it in motion* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinking to himself, if i create a distraction, something that will get her out* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *here in a hurry........* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks as it comes to him, he reaches to his pack, pulling an explosive bottle* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *from inside..... he hides himself and tosses it over to the next house, waiting* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *to see what happens* a [Masterpiece]: 3 a [Masterpiece]: 2 a [Masterpiece]: 1 Kaede Hitori: *turns quickly* Kaede Hitori: *moves for the door to push it open hard with little effort to look out to where the noise was af* Kaede Hitori: *after grabbing her sai* Kaede Hitori: *looks around, not seeing anythong too out of place, considering returning inside* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves quickly from her side out of the shadows, tackling her hard to the ground* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *making sure to position himself ontop of her, he moves his right hand, and the* Kaede Hitori: Oof! Hikaru Mitsuharu: *tekagi it holds to her throat and looks down at her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: this is the last chance im going to give you to stop toying with me.... Kaede Hitori: *falls back with the impact though sai remain in hand, quickly moved to press their tips at his sides* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *speaks in a very low, and monotone voice* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *noticing the points of the Sai's touching his ribcage, he smirks and continues on* Hikaru Mitsuharu: either you end this game you are playing, or it looks like we are both going to Hikaru Mitsuharu: die this night Kaede Hitori: *drops her head back, kasa spilling off to the side as she peers up at him* Kaede Hitori: Well you certainly don't waste any time do ya.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves the still wet, poison soaked blades closer to her throat* Hikaru Mitsuharu: I told you i dont have time for games Hikaru Mitsuharu: *knows her Sai's are still at their place on his sides but doesnt seem to care* Kaede Hitori: Well it seems we are at a stand still then because even if I did tell you, you likely won't remembe Hikaru Mitsuharu: *raises his voice slightly, his eyes forming an evil smirk as he continues on* Hikaru Mitsuharu: try me Hikaru Mitsuharu: and you better make it good Kaede Hitori: Perhaps we can.. shift inside eh? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves his left hand and takagi closer, bringing it next to his right, as he* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shifts his weight slightly, now that he is no longer leaning his weight on his offhand too* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shakes his head, taking a more offencive possition, and not seeming to want to* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *do anything aside from hear what she has to say, or drive the takagi into her throat* Kaede Hitori: Well.. we can either move inside, same positioning if you like.. or in the event of revealing to you Kaede Hitori: who I am amongst this filth of a place, I do so to you as well.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *doesnt speak, just glares down at her, waiting with less and less patience* Kaede Hitori: I guess we're both just going to have to die here then... though I could surely think of better ways.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *his eyes fill with rage, almost glowing red hearing what she said, he raises his* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *right hand up back over his head, and then rapidly brings it down, burrying it* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *deep into the ground, just missing her head by inches* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *stairs into her eyes from his now very close position from her face, almost* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *inches from it..... he slowly and with a growl speaks* Hikaru Mitsuharu: get up Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves himself back and up off of her, as he digs the Tekagi from the ground* Hikaru Mitsuharu: the only reason you still breath is becouse I am intrigued as to who you really are. Hikaru Mitsuharu: dont push your luck. Kaede Hitori: *grins, apparently enjoying his anger though does get up slowly once he does putting the sai into* Kaede Hitori: *the loops at the sides of her leather pants and steps back to open the door and walk in* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *stands slowly, watching her the whole time* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *follows her inside, Tekagi still in hand* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves off to the side of the door, placing his back to the wall* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *motions impatiently with his hands for her to continue, to enraged to even speak* Kaede Hitori: *reaches up to pull the mask away from her face* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *notices her movement and watches closely, then studying her face closely* Kaede Hitori: Twenty years ago you left... gone without a trace Hikaru Mitsuharu: *arches a brow as he listens and studies her closer, as he takes it all in* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *does his best to remember anything that comes to his mind from that long ago* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *at best he remembers that was about the time he left to begin his training* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *with his Sinjo* Kaede Hitori: I met you while you were on the river with your father.. that place was my.. relief.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *his features seem to dullen slightly at the mention of his father, flooding his* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *mind with old memories* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looking down slightly he notices the Tekagi still in his hands, and decides to* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *places them back to his sides* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *though the gloves remain* Hikaru Mitsuharu: my... father? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *says slowly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinks back to those years he spent on the river with his father, and trying his* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *best to place her face, now seeing it finally* Kaede Hitori: The only friend I really had was gone.. Kaede Hitori: I continued to return to that place for some time but.. it held no further appeal Kaede Hitori: *returns to her spot and lowers to resume the same position she had earlier* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *slowly starts to have flashes of memories come back to him, his mind has been* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *filled with many unpleasent thoughts in the past years, and had forgotten most* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *of his pleasent childhood memories* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *she can tell he is in thought, struggling to place her, or to come to terms with* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *what she is telling him* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *slowly he reaches his right hand up and removes the mempo from his face,* Kaede Hitori: *remains silent now just letting him have his time to figure it out* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *taking his time about it, then once its off he looks over at her, seeming to still* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *try to place her* Kaede Hitori: Kaede is my real name... Hikaru Mitsuharu: wait... Hikaru Mitsuharu: K... Ka.. Kaede? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *hearing it seems to have been the last piece he needed to remember her* Kaede Hitori: I remember.. being fairly mad at you for disappearing.. but after twenty years that goes away Hikaru Mitsuharu: *moves his right hand up. shaking his finger as he continues* Hikaru Mitsuharu: yes,.... now i remember Hikaru Mitsuharu: you were so young then....... as was i Hikaru Mitsuharu: *almost grins thinking about it* Kaede Hitori: Hai.. wasn't more than five years Hikaru Mitsuharu: *though doesnt, instead he just looks her over, remaining silent for a moment* Hikaru Mitsuharu: you... have grown, changed alot since then Kaede Hitori: As have you.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *takes a step closer to her, still studying her closely* Hikaru Mitsuharu: well... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *winces his face as he tries to think of a good way to appalogize for his actions* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *outside* Kaede Hitori: *waves a hand slightly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: forgive me for not remembering you..... Kaede Hitori: Don't worry about it.. was fairly thrilling for the few moments it lasted Hikaru Mitsuharu: *turns from her as he says it, walking off a bit* Hikaru Mitsuharu: alot has changed, and happened to me since those days Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks away from her, feeling sorry for threatening her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *though he wont speak his feelings* Kaede Hitori: Hai, to be expected.. though what I didn't expect was to find you here Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: Hai, as i said, alot has changed and happened to me since then Kaede Hitori: Eleven years I've walked amongst these walls.. Never really staying in one place.. or even in this Kaede Hitori: area.. until I found you anyway.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *turns slightly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: eleven years? Hikaru Mitsuharu: you have been here? Kaede Hitori: *nods slowly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *seems confused, never thinking her family anything more then fisherman* Hikaru Mitsuharu: but, why? Kaede Hitori: Hai, the parents put on a good show didn't they Kaede Hitori: My parents are no different than we are now.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods after a moment, beginning to understand* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i see. Kaede Hitori: However having ones first kill be two off duty imperial guards doesn't go over well.. Kaede Hitori: *shrugs slightly as if she doesn't care* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks hearing that, knowing he has taken his share of them* Hikaru Mitsuharu: and your family? Hikaru Mitsuharu: are they here aswell? Kaede Hitori: They're still in Bishani Hikaru Mitsuharu: *arches a brow wondering how that could be so* Kaede Hitori: My parents casted me out... no one but them and my sister knows what I did Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods hearing, now understanding* Hikaru Mitsuharu: sorry to hear Kaede Hitori: *shrugs* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *says quietly, thinking of his own mother now* Kaede Hitori: Doesn't matter Hikaru Mitsuharu: Hai, after eleven years, i suppose it does not Kaede Hitori: Things weren't going so well at home anyway.. it was time to go Kaede Hitori: They just made it easier to leave Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *remembering now seeing her family when he returned to the village after* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *his fathers death* Kaede Hitori: So how did you end up here.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods in agreement to her words* Hikaru Mitsuharu: that is a very long story Kaede Hitori: I suspect now that you've found some time to stay awhile.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks slightly as he says it, still thinking back now to their childhood* Hikaru Mitsuharu: hmm Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks up at her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: oh, Hai... I am not going anywhere..... Little Bishani is my home now Kaede Hitori: Well that is good to hear I suppose.. atleast until you wander off to the Dyrling camp.. Kaede Hitori: *smirks slightly and leans back against the wall* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks at her hearing that* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i see you werent lying when you said you had been watching me Hikaru Mitsuharu: that is not my home. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *says flatly* Kaede Hitori: No since your home is over there Kaede Hitori: *gestures to the east* Hikaru Mitsuharu: as to you wondering what ever happened to me all those years ago....... Kaede Hitori: But you do frequent that place Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods to her hand gesture* Hikaru Mitsuharu: something happened to make my father send me away. Hikaru Mitsuharu: long story short, i did something to merit his disapproval, and he sent me off to Hikaru Mitsuharu: a master Sinjo.... though he misjudged his craft. Hikaru Mitsuharu: my Father thought he was a Knight, thinking i needed the disapline he sent me Hikaru Mitsuharu: to him..... a Knight he was not, as by now im sure you have gathered Kaede Hitori: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: and there I remained, for eighteen years... until the news of my Fathers death Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks off to her side the whole time he is telling her his story, not once making* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *eye contact* Hikaru Mitsuharu: Incase you ever wondered..... Kaede Hitori: *isn't entirely watching him, more focused on the floor as she listens, occasionaly glancing up* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks over at her now, and into her eyes, if she looked up at the same time* Kaede Hitori: *nods slightly as she met his gaze* Kaede Hitori: I've wondered for twenty years.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: I thought about you too, I always wondered what happened to you Hikaru Mitsuharu: and when I returned you were no where to be found. Kaede Hitori: Hai.. I was long gone by then.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods once* Hikaru Mitsuharu: when i returned things had changed alot in the village. Hikaru Mitsuharu: my mother always seemed too busy, trying to keep her mind from my fathers Hikaru Mitsuharu: death to even notice i had returned. Hikaru Mitsuharu: and Tetsu seemed very distant... almost mad at me for being gone so long Kaede Hitori: But he's here now as well Hikaru Mitsuharu: as for why we are here..... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods thinking the best way to tell her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: you see, i became very very busy upon making my way home. Hikaru Mitsuharu: and the things i had done up to that point began to weigh on me heavily. Hikaru Mitsuharu: so i decided it best to tell my Mother and Tetsu of what i was doing for the Hikaru Mitsuharu: past eighteen years, and in the nearly two since i returned. Kaede Hitori: *shakes her head a bit* Hikaru Mitsuharu: needless to say, it didnt go over well.our Mother told me to leave and never Hikaru Mitsuharu: return, to which i did. Kaede Hitori: Sounds familiar Hikaru Mitsuharu: though, what i didnt know is someone had been listening in and ran to the guard Hikaru Mitsuharu: , telling them what they had overheard.... Hikaru Mitsuharu: they returned, not knowing i had already gone, and torched our home...... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *pauses a moment* Kaede Hitori: *frowns slightly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: our Mother was still inside.... Hikaru Mitsuharu: and me being gone, knew nothing of this until Tetsu had gotten word to me from Bishani Hikaru Mitsuharu: needless to say, he made sure all involved suffered, but in doing so was nearly Hikaru Mitsuharu: caught and that is how we came to be marked...... Hikaru Mitsuharu: all my fault you could say Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods once looking away as he finishes the story* Kaede Hitori: Or the fault of whoever it was that was spying Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs a bit, still blaming himself for their mothers death* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinking if he didnt feel the need to unburden his soul to them it never* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *would have happened* Kaede Hitori: Which is more the likely.. since if they hadn't been where they shouldn't have been.. well.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: perhaps... Hikaru Mitsuharu: Tetsu came shortly after, his bride Sahn as well. Hikaru Mitsuharu: they just managed to escape from the Imperial Guard and found their way here Kaede Hitori: Is he still bitter? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: as am i Kaede Hitori: I mean towards you Hikaru Mitsuharu: oh.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs not really sure* Kaede Hitori: Coming to terms with how you've chosen to live Hikaru Mitsuharu: he doesnt speak of it. Hikaru Mitsuharu: we both now have new lives, he knows that this place is now our home.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: and i suppose he knows that what i do, is nessecary Kaede Hitori: Is it? Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods quickly, giving her a look* Hikaru Mitsuharu: dont you find it to be? Kaede Hitori: Hai, but by what I heard earlier.. I do it for different reasons.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: earlier? Kaede Hitori: *nods* Kaede Hitori: When you left here.. and went home Hikaru Mitsuharu: *grins slightly, nodding once* Hikaru Mitsuharu: things change Hikaru Mitsuharu: there was a time, when i first returned that my reasons were the same as yours Hikaru Mitsuharu: but as i said, alot has changed since then Kaede Hitori: I do it because it is what I'm good at.. I was trained in this life since I was old enough to walk... Kaede Hitori: The only way to survive here is by reputation and instilling fear.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Kaede Hitori: And accepting the gold on someone elses head.. Kaede Hitori: *shrugs slightly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: then perhaps our reasons arent as different as you think Kaede Hitori: Perhaps.. though I don't talk to the mother anymore Hikaru Mitsuharu: ahh Hikaru Mitsuharu: well.... there was a time that i didnt either... Hikaru Mitsuharu: but on coming here, and making it my home, he voice returned to me. Hikaru Mitsuharu: i had lost it for some time back in Bishani Hikaru Mitsuharu: but the things she wishes from me now are quite different then they were then Hikaru Mitsuharu: *becomes silent now, thinking he has said too much, and also tiring of talking* Kaede Hitori: How convenient Kaede Hitori: I'll say I've not lost sight of her.. but she is not a prominent figure in my life.. hasn't been since Kaede Hitori: I've been here Hikaru Mitsuharu: *sits down on the floor, his legs going under him as he lowers himself.* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods listening to her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *motions for her to continue* Kaede Hitori: *doesn't seem to have anything else to say* Hikaru Mitsuharu: tell me more.... what have you been doing these past eleven years Kaede? Kaede Hitori: *reaches down to one of the swans left behind and toys with it in her fingers* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *watches her, as he places his hands on his thighs resting slightly* Kaede Hitori: Establishing my foothold around Lethe Kaede Hitori: Mind you none have set their eyes upon me in this way since I left Bishani Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks slightly* Kaede Hitori: Tis a rarity anyone sees me at all.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *lowes his head slightly to her, out of respect for her letting him view her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: same for me... Hikaru Mitsuharu: even my main employer has never seen my face Kaede Hitori: You... work for someone? Kaede Hitori: *lofts a brow, quite confused by that* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shakes his head slightly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: allow me to rephrase... Hikaru Mitsuharu: i dont work for him directly, i handle things for him, and to which he pays me Kaede Hitori: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinks a moment deciding it not a good time to tell her of his affiliation* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *with the man* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i guess my reputation slightly proceded my arrival here. Hikaru Mitsuharu: as i have been gainfully kept busy since my coming here Kaede Hitori: *nods slowly* Kaede Hitori: So it seems.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: and as for this places limitless supply of assholes, i stay quite busy Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks slightly as he says it* Kaede Hitori: Hai, don't we all Hikaru Mitsuharu: *glances over at her, thinking about what she said earlier about him going* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *to the Dyrling section* Hikaru Mitsuharu: so tell me Kaeda, just how long have you been watching me? Kaede Hitori: I always make note to keep an eye on the 'competition' so to speak incase I should be victim to Kaede Hitori: their ways.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: then it is a good thing that you decided to tell me your true identity when you did Hikaru Mitsuharu: *winks slightly over at her* Kaede Hitori: *grins faintly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i would hate to think i killed an old friend becouse of a mistake Kaede Hitori: I suppose.. I wasn't entirely sure at first but when I saw Tetsu... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *says it flatly, but with honesty in his tone* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods knowing she would have recognized him since he never left the village* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *untill she was likely gone already* Kaede Hitori: He is what gave you away.. can't say I'm disappointed though.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *almost grins hearing that, though doesnt* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i just hope that the man i am now manages to live up to your expectations of the Hikaru Mitsuharu: boy i was when you knew me Kaede Hitori: Well not having to hide what I am was a certain plus to such an 'expectation' if it could be said Kaede Hitori: there was one Hikaru Mitsuharu: i dont have the same emotions, and ideals i held then Hikaru Mitsuharu: i am actually quite the opposite actually, though i never knew what you and your Kaede Hitori: I doubt I do either.. twenty years is a long time Hikaru Mitsuharu: family really were, i suppose you know what I am saying Hikaru Mitsuharu: someone in our profession finds it hard to... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *thinks for the right term* Hikaru Mitsuharu: have use for emotions Kaede Hitori: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: so if i seem distant, forgive me. Kaede Hitori: You seem to find that anger one fairly quick tho Hikaru Mitsuharu: i just find it hard to actually talk to anyone for any length of time.... Hikaru Mitsuharu: especially when it comes to what we do Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: Hai, it is used the most. so it is the easiest for me to make use of Kaede Hitori: What is it that angers you so much that makes it easy.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shifts slightly, though remains there on the floor* Hikaru Mitsuharu: everything.... anything. Kaede Hitori: That is certainly a lot then. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *though he is not a man of many words, he is finding it easy to speak to her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *as though they were friends all through the years* Hikaru Mitsuharu: you see.... Hikaru Mitsuharu: it is difficult for me to show compassion to others, when so little of it has ever Hikaru Mitsuharu: been shown to me. Hikaru Mitsuharu: it is something I lack, for never really having experienced it myself. Hikaru Mitsuharu: I find it very easy to do what I do, and without thought or hessitation. Hikaru Mitsuharu: without remorse, or even so much of a whisper from the Goddess. Hikaru Mitsuharu: it has become too easy for me. Kaede Hitori: I once knew what compassion was.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: So i guess that is why i find it easy to anger. Hikaru Mitsuharu: did you? Kaede Hitori: I also knew what other emotions were as well.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: i suppose as a small boy... but that was so long ago Hikaru Mitsuharu: *doesnt really believe that knowing his parents did show love and compassion for* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *him, but is just that far gone that he just uses it as an easy explanation* Hikaru Mitsuharu: so tell me, why have you lost your use for it? Kaede Hitori: That's just it Kaede Hitori: I've had no need Hikaru Mitsuharu: it just gets in the way correct? Kaede Hitori: I'm sure it would.. but even since the first time I shed the blood of another.. Kaede Hitori: I didn't even care then.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods understanding completly what she means* Kaede Hitori: No regret.. no remorse.. Kaede Hitori: *grins a bit at the thought* Kaede Hitori: I even stayed a bit to decorate the fallen bodies... what had occured to me then of what to do Hikaru Mitsuharu: *feels slightly more at ease hearing her explanation, and decides he doesnt have* Kaede Hitori: has stuck with me to this day.. and part of the intruige of my repor Hikaru Mitsuharu: *to hide how much of a heartless murderer he has become.* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i just find it easy to do, like putting on pants for another. Hikaru Mitsuharu: always have Hikaru Mitsuharu: and perhaps that is why it just comes so easy. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smirks thinking about the time at the bar in the Dyrling section* Hikaru Mitsuharu: there was this one... Hikaru Mitsuharu: i didnt even need to kill him, but by the time i decided not to, my hand had Hikaru Mitsuharu: already reacted and he died before i could even think twice about what happened. Hikaru Mitsuharu: it has become almost a reflex. do you know what i mean? Kaede Hitori: Indeed Hikaru Mitsuharu: *looks over at her sincerely as he asks, genuinly curious* Kaede Hitori: It has been awhile since I've had to kill someone that wasn't paid for.. but.. it has happened Kaede Hitori: I don't go to places where other people are Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods slightly fining it more and more easy to relax around her* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i almost hate to say it.... but i have killed some just to watch their expressions change Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs as he says it flatly* Kaede Hitori: I can't say I wouldn't... though I've been a recluse so long.. I don't think I'd handle too well in a Hikaru Mitsuharu: one man, while i was still in Bishani, just becouse he looked at me when I Hikaru Mitsuharu: wakled into the bank. Kaede Hitori: group of people.. You're the first I've sat and talked to for a long time Hikaru Mitsuharu: *grins slightly hearing that* Hikaru Mitsuharu: well outside my brother, who really i dont talk to like this, you are the only one Kaede Hitori: And you see how long it's taken me just to manage that Hikaru Mitsuharu: I can talk to about this.,. atleast now. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Kaede Hitori: *nods faintly* Kaede Hitori: Well then I suppose we now have a mutual outlet again.. much as it was for me when I was little Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods once* Hikaru Mitsuharu: Hai, I would enjoy that aswell. Hikaru Mitsuharu: have you ever had a student? Kaede Hitori: *shakes her head* Kaede Hitori: That means I'd have to talk to someone Hikaru Mitsuharu: *was thinkign about asking and decides it might be better incase Songlian* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *ever shows up here again* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods with a laugh* Hikaru Mitsuharu: Hai.... though not much Hikaru Mitsuharu: there was one.... Kaede Hitori: Even those that hire my service don't talk to me Kaede Hitori: *smirks* Hikaru Mitsuharu: who was taught with me by our Sinjo... she was younger and when my father Hikaru Mitsuharu: died and I left, our Sinjo was near his end as well, he sent her out to find me to Hikaru Mitsuharu: finish her teachings Kaede Hitori: I've not seen any other around you or your home.. what happened to her Hikaru Mitsuharu: she has come here once. Hikaru Mitsuharu: she managed to track me down.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: far as i know she still lives in Bishani Kaede Hitori: *nods slowly* Hikaru Mitsuharu: she couldnt understand why i would willingly leave Bishani and we had what one Hikaru Mitsuharu: might call a fight before my leaving. Kaede Hitori: 'might call' ? Hikaru Mitsuharu: and she managed to track me down to here after several months. Kaede Hitori: I was not aware there was anything beyond 'it is' or 'is not' when it comes to such Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs* Hikaru Mitsuharu: our relationship was always...... strained, i guess is the easiest way to put it. Hikaru Mitsuharu: at the time, i think their was some attraction between the two of us. Kaede Hitori: *looks at him curiously though doesn't ask for him to continue* Hikaru Mitsuharu: most likly becouse of being raised and taught together. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *desides to just get it out of the way, couse he is sure it would come up later* Hikaru Mitsuharu: when she came to me the first time, telling me of our Sinjo's death and that Hikaru Mitsuharu: he wished me to complete her training I agreed. Though as I said, being raised Hikaru Mitsuharu: together made my job of completing her training difficult, to say the least. Hikaru Mitsuharu: so once her training was done, and i knew my time in Bishani was coming to an Kaede Hitori: *just listens, not having any idea since she's never had that problem* Hikaru Mitsuharu: end.. I told her I would be leaving and from there is when the problem started. Hikaru Mitsuharu: the last time i saw her was several months ago when she managed to find her Hikaru Mitsuharu: way here. and tried to get me to return to Bishani, not knowing in her ignorance Hikaru Mitsuharu: that my family had been blackmarked. Kaede Hitori: So she returned then without you? Hikaru Mitsuharu: I told her, if she ever had something pertaining to our craft to ask me she knew Hikaru Mitsuharu: where to find me. but other then that Little Bishani was my home now, and Hikaru Mitsuharu: I would not be returning to Bishani with her Hikaru Mitsuharu: or at anytime. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods as she asks, though continued on* Hikaru Mitsuharu: I still suspect she doesnt have the heart for our craft. Kaede Hitori: Why didn't she just stay? Hikaru Mitsuharu: she even told me she has yet to make her first kill. Hikaru Mitsuharu: becouse I didnt wish her to. Hikaru Mitsuharu: her training is done, it is up to her to continue in the art or not. Hikaru Mitsuharu: she is Ji'Coi afterall, and her head dwells in the clouds Kaede Hitori: *nods a but now suddenly realizing the conflict* Hikaru Mitsuharu: but being taught together, and pretty much raised together, i suppose she Hikaru Mitsuharu: recieved what little of the compassion i posses. Hikaru Mitsuharu: I do not think she will return. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs* Hikaru Mitsuharu: she will most likly go back to her family and her art, and leave her past behind her Kaede Hitori: *isn't quite sure what to say to that though nods slightly when he finishes* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs, putting both hands up with the shrug* Hikaru Mitsuharu: thought i should tell you now, incase you ever saw some strange Ji'Coi snooping Hikaru Mitsuharu: around my place Hikaru Mitsuharu: *Smirks* Kaede Hitori: Hai, would hate to have to think they had ill intent Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: and it was part of my recent past aswell. so i figured since we were sharing..... Hikaru Mitsuharu: *grins a bit* Kaede Hitori: *smiles* Kaede Hitori: Well I'd share more if I had anything really worth interest to speak of Hikaru Mitsuharu: im sure there is something interesting in there Hikaru Mitsuharu: and not having seen you since we were children, you telling me what you had for Kaede Hitori: The various interesting ways to kill a man... or woman.. and how messy it can really get.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: dinner last night would be interesting Hikaru Mitsuharu: *shrugs* Hikaru Mitsuharu: i know all that already Kaede Hitori: Exactly Hikaru Mitsuharu: *winks* Kaede Hitori: Hence the not interesting Hikaru Mitsuharu: come now Kaede, I am sure that you have some stories to tell, living here the Hikaru Mitsuharu: past eleven years Kaede Hitori: *smirks* Kaede Hitori: Not really.. it's always been the same.. killing to earn a good coin or few just to eat.. Kaede Hitori: Granted.. it's gotten easier as time went on Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Kaede Hitori: As the costs went up Hikaru Mitsuharu: well, if you ever need a little extra.... I'm not exactly in a bad way at the moment Kaede Hitori: It is not entirely a thrilling existance. Kaede Hitori: I earn what I need and then some now.. if not more.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: would be an honor to help out my old friend Hikaru Mitsuharu: *nods* Hikaru Mitsuharu: *glances around the small shanty* Kaede Hitori: Well I do appreciate the offer.. though it was about 8 or more years ago that I would have taken Kaede Hitori: you up on it.. Hikaru Mitsuharu: *smiles slightly* [Due to time constraints, rp ends here] |
