In September 2006, she was diagnosed with renal failure. In late 2007, she asked to be freed from this terminal condition.
Nicknamed Grrr for her industrial-strength burps, her forte is retrieving, which she has turned into a form of kleptomania. Members of the audience are advised to guard their purses, hats and camera bags. Her house name is Goshdarnit Grrr. Besides having a strange sense of humor and standing on your socks when you don't know it, she will try to push you down the stairs with a well-placed, goat-style butt from behind.
Beauty was our "Internet Grey". I spotted her brother at one of our shows in Illinois and had him traced through the National Greyhound Association (NGA). Friends searched on-line racing sites for a female and learned that one would grade off in Florida. (We were in Las Vegas.) She became Tammy Farrington�s 47th foster, until we could get there to pick her up.
And Tammy became our friend and web master.
