| Chey (Cheyanne Bowman) was born in June 1995. She was donated by GPA-Greater Orlando in 1997. The dark red-brindle with the super long, white-tipped tail invited herself into the family at the age of 17 months as the fifth Gilley Greyhound. She never broke her maiden. Her photograph has made the front pages of more newspapers across the nation than any other Greyhound with her "World's Record Live Greyhound Jump," (usually five squirmy ones).
Chey's personality type is called "Velcro" or a momma's baby. Although she has many famous Grade A ancestors in her pedigree, when it came time for her to find the finish line, Chey thought that meant you got on the bus, the one with the picture of the Greyhound on the side, and told the driver to go fast. She probably still does. Chey is the originator of the rude phrase, �larval-stage humans,� and would prefer not to speak to anyone under 25. |
