The Erotic Tale of Sator and Iphae

Long ago, during the reign of the cat warrior king Jalaes (L. 2057-2109), lived a young married couple, a lion named Sator and a lioness named Iphae.  Sator was only 25 ladurs of age when he married his young wife of only 24 ladurs.  They were a traditional cat warrior couple -- Sator was an excellent fighter and a successful trader and merchant; Iphae was a girl not too far into her adulthood when her parents died mysteriously of a disease, but still kept the family alive with her outstanding fighting ability.

When Sator and Iphae were married at the "shroud," Sator announced in his marriage vows that he would forever pander to Iphae "with a cat warrior's share of lovely, erotic touches and sensations, and to always be mature and maintain proper bedroom etiquette for [Iphae]."  For a long time the two lovers made love in Sator's large bed -- they would first drink an edible contraceptive of lotus pollen, Nola berry juice, and honey; take turns taking off each other's clothing; and finally climb into bed and make love for hours at a time until they were both too exhausted and unstimulated to continue.  They were often very active outside of the bed; often they could not wait until they could meet each other after attending to errands and other forms of work and occupation just so they could kiss each other.
After two ladurs since they married in L. 2067, things began to change when Iphae began to notice that her husband could not seem to live up to his vows.  He was not the womanizer, nor the one to abuse his wife, but Iphae got the notion that he just didn't seem to care much for lovemaking anymore.  Iphae would try her every womanish sexual mechanism to appeal to him and lure him into bed with her, but rarely did it work.  They had made love so often that the practice became boring and unenjoyable.  But Iphae refused to give up.

One morning, Sator awoke to see his wife making him breakfast before going out to practice and sharpen his fighting skills with his fellow cat warrior men.  Iphae did not eat with him; instead, she stood near him and watched him eat.  Sator loved his wife's cooking; he would sometimes stubbornly refuse to eat anything else, even if his neighbors invited he and his wife to a meal.
Sator ate a lot as well; he grew from such a small child into a large, muscle-bound cat warrior.  Iphae watched intently as Sator ate forkful after forkful of leaves of lettuce and cabbage, tomatoes, Nola berry muffins, and bread.  As Sator finished, he wiped his mouth with a cloth napkin and stood up.
"Thank you, my love," he said, smiling and kissing Iphae on the lips.  He then reached for his sword and strapped his metal skullcap to his head.  "I will return in a few hours."
Iphae led her husband to the door.  "Farewell," she said, as Sator walked out of the house and out into the flooded forest.
As Sator left her sight, Iphae began to think about how to better please her husband.  She loved him very much and wanted so much for her to be wanted in bed.  But to understand her husband, she needed to think of what else in which he found favor.

That afternoon, shortly before Sator was to return home, Iphae was cleaning out the little house in which she and her husband lived, a small wooden cabin with six small rooms.  As Iphae was cleaning out the kitchen and the cabinets within, she came across a large silver platter, an enormous dish used for serving large amounts of people.  It had once been used during the Celebration of Independence and Autonomy as a means of serving over two hundred cat warriors.
But as Iphae cleaned the platter, she suddenly got a very interesting idea.  She immediately went back to the pantry and obtained several jars of Sator's favorite foods, including a type of garnishing lettuce.  Afterward, she began to put her flawless plan into effect.
