Yes, I actually did go to see a bullfight while I was in Spain! I went on April 24th to see Eugenio de Mora, Juan Bautista, and Manuel Jesús 'El Cid'. I just *had* to go see El Cid to see why they call him that, and I must say that I was impressed - not with the bulls dying, but with the matador himself. He's got a great style and after his first bull the audience gave him a standing ovation. Normally there are supposed to be 6 bulls (2 for each matador), but the night I went there were 9 because two of them were replaced and one came charging into the arena and broke one of its horns almost clean off - pretty gruesome and the crowd was not too pleased at the condition of the bulls. But it was an experience nonetheless.
