| The - now- tallest building of Manhattan. But as you can clearly see, if viewed from the right angle the Empire State Building doesn't look any taller than your avarage apartment building. At night the top is illuminated in colours that change according to a schedule that I was never able to fully understand. |
| Das (jetzt wieder) hoechste Gebaeude von Manhattan. Aber wie man gut erkennen kann, vom richtigen Winkel aus betrachtet, ist es auch nicht hoeher als ein Durchschnittshochhaus. Jeden Abend erstrahlt die Spitze in buntem Licht, manchmal einfarbig, manchmal mehrfarbig und immer einem Zeitplan folgend, den ich nie ganz begriffen habe. |
