I knew in my heart,
I was really in love.
We could sit and talk for hours,
About life,love,or personal matters.
We grew so close,
Each new day,
Your morning messages,
sent meany smiles my way.
I looked forward,
To each time we spoke.
You were my first thoughts,
Whenever I woke.
Each new day,
Gave me a new reason why.
To look forward to your words,
When we met online.
Then something happened,
I wasnt sure what.
You distanced your love,
You distanced yourself.
So many plans,
And my love was so true.
I realize now,
I never knew you.
I used to have dreams,
with so much we shared.
So much hope,
I thought you could understand.
You left me saddened,
with out a word or a clue.
Deep down inside,
Ill hold memories of you.
But now that you have broken my heart,
Things changed so much,
Im alone in the dark.
I will move on and get over you,
It wont be easy,
But my heart has to.
