Junjun is based on Jan's blockmate JV. During the OrSem (Orientation Seminar), when Jan met his blockmates, JV had on his nametag "Jun-jun", even when he wasn't a junior. Later it was known that his nickname was JV, so he was called as such, and the name Jun-jun only turned into a joke (because we laughed everytime a teacher called JV Jun-jun). Anyway, for purposes of having ironies in the strip, Junjun was named as such. He resembles JV in everything.
