| Carlos is not wearing shades/sunglasses. Just recently, his vision went slightly off 20/20, and that required him to wear eyeglasses. Despite this, however, Carlos still manages to use this for his own fashionable benefits. Carlos is a member of a band, a cheering band. Despite this, Carlos always hangs out with the barkada. A test the next day, or a date with a chick, or even a band practice can never stop Carlos from joining the gang. (He may not be there on time, but he'll be there). Carlos is based on Jan's blockmate JC (Jose Carlos). The original name given to Carlos when his character was created was Carlos Miguel, to make the strips a bit more like the teledramas. But Carlos Miguel proved to be a bit too long for a strip character's name, so the "Miguel" part was dropped. His name was then finalized as Carlos. Carlos and JC are the same physically, they have the same attitude, and they are almost the same in everything. |
