Patio Garden
The Valley of the Kittitas was known as a peaceful valley of beauty and abundance for many, many years among the Native Americans who lived in this area.  I have found it to be so for me, as well.  The Farmers Market is only one of my many interests and activities and my participation grew out of my love of gardening and my interest in crafts.  In this case my Ceramics.

Making, teaching and selling ceramics has been a large part of my life for many years.  It will continue to be so even though I now have to do these things on a smaller scale.

Gardening also has to be done on a smaller scale.  I do have a small plot in the community garden area and also lots of pots on my patio.

Other hobbies and interests involve sewing and needlework.  Our Crafts Circle meets every Tuesday at the Senior Center and we get together and talk while we work on our various projects.  At the present time I am working on two very different counted cross stitch projects and two very different crocheted projects.

Reading, cooking and listening to music are also major interests in my life.  In the last two years I have added computers to that list.  I really enjoy doing and learning all the new things that has opened up!  Including several groups/lists on the internet.
The Kittitas County Farmers Market is part of my extended family; and the residents at the apartment complex where I live have also become part of my family.  My own family is scattered over the Southwest and the Northwest from Texas to California and on up to Oregon and Washington.  One of my brothers lives in Yakima and Mom has a trailer on his property.  The other one lives in La Grande.  One of my two sisters lives in Colville and the other lives in Pasco.
