In case anyone still reads this, I'll give a brief update on where I've been. I graduated from college in December, and in February, we welcomed a daughter into the world...two months early, so a little unexpected. I started a new job in June, and we bought a house a week ago and are in the process of unpacking. Unfortunately, the most skating I have done has been teaching "learn to skate" classes, because the summer skating schedule runs in the a.m., and is not compatible with my work schedule. :( To fill the void, I am fufilling another childhood dream by taking an adult gymnastics class. It is great fun, and a killer work out. I am destined to prove that 23 years old is not too old to learn a back handspring. :) I hope to start skating more in the fall, and would very much like to compete in Badger State Games next February. We'll see how much skating I can afford, now that I have a baby and a mortgage payment. ;) So I'll try to update whenever I go to an open skating session, but check back in the fall for more updates, as I should be back on the ice more frequently.
