My Oasis

I want to live a fairytale...I want to fall madly in love with prince charming and have him sweep me off my feet. I want to be surprised by flowers in my locker, to dance the night away, to just watch the sun set while being in his arms. I want my knight in shining armor to rescue me.

I wish that everyone could just get along, that they could understand life is a gift, and that a person can do anything with hope, love, and, most importantly, God.

Life is meant to be cherished...not hurried through. I don't want to grow up and be absorbed by a job and ran by schedules. I want to live day to day doing something important that I love. I want to have a family, but I truly want to enjoy life, not just live it.

I believe children are the image of what society should be and that children in reality are wiser then adults. A child never worries about something as insignificant as a book report or why the earth revolves around the sun. They except the truths of the universe without any explanation. They are carefree and innocent until society, or adults, plague them with unimportant details and make them worry for nothing. Children are the humans who are closest to God, until the world ruins them. Oh how I wish to be a child again. To live a life full of simplicity.

I would truly love to just stop time...so I could fully grasp my life. Too many times I ask myself what is it I'm really doing and why. There are times that I wish I could even turn back time, but now I realize that everything I've been through has a reason and purpose in my life. Every event, every person, every relationship has shaped me as a person, the person God wants me to be.
