Al Miller is a Director for the Fire Fighter I Academy for Porterville College. Al received a Bachelor Arts Degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco in December 1988. He was employed by the City of Tulare, Fire Department for 26 years. He was promoted to the rank of Fire Chief on December 31, 1994. Al served as the Fire Chief until He retired on January 4, 2002.
