About Me

Hi, I'm Lou Marchant.

My job here at Porterville College is that of Program Manager. I have a wide range of responsibilities. They include the following, athletic events coordinator, orientation of new students, advising and career counseling.

My career at Porterville College expands over 22 years. The years spent at here have not only been rewarding but also challenging. I have truly enjoyed each and every one.

On a more personal note, I have been married to the same wonderful woman for the past 20 years. Her name is Denise. We have one talented and beautiful daughter. Her name is Elyse. We also have a son, which by the way is our family dog. He answers to the name of Maxie. Maxie is a treasured part of our loving family.

I enjoy working with students, so if you are in need of any assistance please feel free to contact me. I will do my best to help make your time spent here at PC a positive and enriching experience.
