~Let’s talk dollars and cents. Grocery shopping is always a hassle because I
don’t know where to go. To find the most
reasonable grocery store in your area you can try this little experiment:
1. Pick
three items every grocery store will have, like eggs, sugar, and butter.
2. Go
to two different grocery stores and write down the prices of these three items-
prices may vary, so try to pick a brand name that both stores will most likely
carry.
3. Compare
the prices by using your basic math skills that we have been practicing and
fine tuning over this past week. Find
out which store has the better prices, and prepare to discuss it in class on
Friday.
