[*] A plot log is a list of the events of the chapter mentioned in the lesson plan. The teacher will ask probing questions such as, “What happened in this chapter?” and build off of the information the students provide until all the main points of the chapter have been covered. Students will complete the plot log in their notebooks as the teacher does it on the overhead. Completing a plot log should take no longer than five minutes per chapter.
