How to Contact Me
A recent trip to Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar...
Back
I traveled with 12 other photographers, including Steve McCurry, who is a National Geographic photographer on a 2-week journey around 3 countries in Southeast Asia.  It was so fun, but very busy.  I left January 10 and came back on the 25th.  For anyone that knows me, you know I am a picky eater and was hard to find food that I could eat while I was there.  I got about 5-6 hours of sleep a night and worked hard all day shooting villages, temples and moestaries.  The people are so friendly there, but the government and economy was very depressing.  It was hard to look at starving children on the street working 12 or 13 hours a day.  The average household income per year is $150, so you can imagine how inexpensive everything was there.  I did get sick while I was in Cambodia.  I was the only person on the trip that got really really sick.  I stayed in bed for about a day but forced myself to get out there the next.  It is hard to believe that such a different world exists that many of us are not aware of.  It was an eye opener for me, and was great to see how lucky we really are.
