Top of Europe
In Mid August me and my mate Mustard headed to Jungfraujoch "The top of Europe". We were happy to be in Europe and take advantage of the train to 3454m We left Kandersteg at 5.30am and got there and started climbing at 10am. What a shock straight to 4000m. We baged the Mnch 4099. My first 4000m peack since Mont Blanc. We took a difficult route up and then came back down the direct route.
The following day we headed up Jungfrau. It was a tricky start getting of the glacier onto the mountain. Massive crevasses and a sketchy ice climb. It was ideal weather but I wasn't having a good day and had to stop with exhaustion and stomach aches at about 3900m (It took 3 weeks to recover). Mustard was a real hereo and went solo to the top. I chilled out for a while and waited for him. We then descended together.
