Today was an excellent yet exhusting day! I started off the day bright and early, my dad took me to my Mini Rex breeder's house to have my broken seal doe bred to his grand champion REW buck and to pick up a few rows of cages. My rabbit was receptive and bred twice and my breeder is keeping her until next Thursday to make sure she is bred. What really surprised me was that he GAVE me his little solid castor doe (Payton) because every castor I have had lately has died it seems like. I have been in desparate need of a new castor doe ever since Sappho my little sweetie died and since Jade has decided not to nurse her babies. I am absolutely in love with Payton. She is even staying inside with me tonight though I feel bad, she was playing and she snagged her toenail on the carpet and ripped it out. right now she is asleep in my lap. I spent the rest of the afternoon playing with her and my little Holland and Mini Rex babies. I have already taught my 5 week old Mini Rexes how to get into show position. I am now working with the 2 week olds.Then, I had to clean out the rabbitry (YUCK!!!). Monday I have a friend coming to buy her first breeding pair. I am selling her Mozart, my little doll. I am going to teach her all there is to know about showing rabbits but, she is a quick learner. Tomorrow, dad and I are getting up early to hang cages so, since we have to get up early and go to Lowes Hardware I should probably get some sleep.
