| Shareing God's Message I used to pray to God saying "Let me prove my love to you Lord! I can preach your message to far away lands! Come on I can do it! You know I can!" but at a small Catholic grade school in Wadswoth Ohio where we all pretty much had the same religous opinions these prayers(or should I say my bragging& being usual pain in the butt self!?) Seemed to go unanswered. I also use to pray that God would give me some true friends.Sure I had a few friends at SHS but really I never felt accepted.Mostly we just weren't into the same things.I mean come on how many SHS kids know what a Tribble is?But Manda does! Small thing I know but I took that as a sign from God during lunch when I still didn't know people at my new school & Manda knew what a Tribble was! So my prayer for acceptance was answered! I was sooooo happy!! Now I have these awesome friends who love me for who I am!! What could possibly go wrong? This is great!Way AWESOME! Thanks Lord!!! But what about my other prayer\bragging thing you ask? Well you see God has this plan for each of us & I think I see what I'm supposed to be doing Right Now This Second!!I don't have a problem speaking infront of people especially large groups! I always figured I'd be spreading the Truth by speaking at like churchs,& youth confrencess,& stuff.I'd so love to do that! & maybe someday I will! That would be awesome! I bet God thinks that's too easy! I guess you could say he wants me to change things from the inside!Preaching to some nameless faceless crowd of people I probably would never see again wouldn't be a sacrifice! So for right now I know wha audienceGod wants me to preach to! Bet you can't guess who? You guessed it my new friends!! God's got a sense of humor doesn't he? When I relized this I was like "Fine God you give me the words & I'll do it!" Well Ha Ha Ha!!!! You'd think by now I would have learned! Of course God gave me the words!Why just the other day I was online talking to one of my best friends when the topic of abortion came up.My friend is pro-choice.She thinks abortion is nessicary sometimes.Then out of know where I started saying intellegent things!I didn't convince my friend but later I was venting about the situation Via e-mail to Jackie.(Poor Jackie!I was just dropping her a line about this book when I started raveing like a lunitic about this whole thing! She probably thinks I'm nuts!!)& she said that I said the right stuff & even though I didn't convince my friend it was wrong at least I planted a seed in her mind & later on she might come to know the truth.All because of what I said in High schoo!! So that was a big help! then I got to thinking,Where did I get what I said? Things don't just pop into my head suddnly,I'm not some sort of genius.Heck,I'm just some confused teenage girl who's bad at math & can't spell!Well you see God's real smooth about these sorts of things so I thought back about where I learned about abortions.This is what I figured: I did a speech on abortion in a class,What inspired me to do that?Because I'm dead set against aboortion & I want to share my view on it.Ok,well where did I get my info? From Eric & Jackie,& Josh & Beth,& Joe! & where are these people from? My church!Where did I first hear about abortions? like 2yrs ago at the church! So final answer:God's been putting the info in my head all along! I just didn't notice till I needed it!! So God you soooooo win! With God's help which apparently I have, I can do this.I mean duh! It's gonna be hard & I never thought in a billion years I'd be spreading the truth to the people closest to me! But if you think about it if I really love them I should because the truth is the best gift I can give them.After all they gave me acceptance,it's the least I can do I mean they're the answers the my prayers!!I love them! and this is the ultimite chance to show God how much I love him!(Ok I should stop bragging now!LOL You'd think I'd learn!) ~ the 1 & only Katie Lynn P.S.
