| After the death of her husband, Katia Gordeeva returned to the ice as a solo skater on the Stars On Ice tour, and various skating competitions. Over the years, Katia has become a distinguished solo skater, presenting such memorable programs such as "Fragile", "Umbrellas of Cherbourg", and many, many others. She has also started her own fragrance and bath products line with Target called "Katia." Katia is currently taking the year off from touring to be with her family, but plans to return during the 2001-2002 season. She as a skater is an artist of unparelleled talent and will endure for years in the hearts of her devoted fans! |

| If there's any one soul to thank for bringing Katia through the death of her husband and partner, it is her own little angel, Daria. With Sergei's smile and her young love for life, she helped Katia through the difficult times and led her to happier days. Daria herself has grown into quite the little athlete. She has taken skating lessons, but her favorite sport of choice these days is rhythmic gymnastics. She also seems to be taking a few tennis lessons too. Whatever she grows up to be, she will no doubt continue to inspire katia, who in turn, will continue to inspire her fans! |
